Ive been an emt for 8 years. I have experience treating pediatric emergencies. I am first aid and cpr certified. I do not have experience caring for children but im an upbeat, positive, and caring individual. I love children and would love the chance to gain experience by caring for your kids! I have three dogs at home ranging 10 lbs, 35 lbs, and 100 lbs. I am comfortable with dogs of any size. I dont have experience with cats but I am willing to learn.

Hello. I have 10+ years working with kids from newborns to teenagers. I am also third oldest of seven kids, so some of that experience did come from watching my siblings growing up. I work in the food industry and have 14years experience. I have 2 elder dogs, they are a terrier mix that I had the opportunity of taking in as puppies (3-4 weeks,) they just turned 15 years, so I have experience with dogs, smaller dogs, but I love all dogs regardless. I mainly love baking and creating fun little treats but I do know my way around a kitchen as well. I’ve been a creative person my whole life, so both visual arts and performing arts are things I’m passionate about. I’m a very neat, organized and detail oriented person, so helping with household chores is something I can assist with as well. My fulltime job was affected by the LA fires (Jan. 2025) and I’ve yet to find another full time job to work in tandem with my part time job. Hi parents, my name is Melissa. I am 30 and currently in school completing science classes and now applying to nursing programs. Because of this career path I’m choosing, I have sought after my CPR certification and an EMT certification. I’m certified by American Heart Association and certified by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, as well as the state of CA. I completed my EMT training at Citrus College. I am now working full-time as an EMT. I began babysitting when I was 11 years old, taking care of my little brother and any children belonging to family and friends. Not only have I babysat children, but I have coached and tutored them as well. I was previously employed by Jumpstart (AmeriCorps) to help teach preschool children in low income communities. Because of this, I took 2 child development courses and extensive training, which helped me to continue working with children through UrbanSitter since 2015. Side note: In my video, i accidentally said that I have experience with children between 2 and 3, but I have babysat children between the ages of 2 and 14.
