I am a student who works as a waitress as it is accommodating. I am currently enrolled at SJSU as a Psychology major with a double minor in Child Development and Sociology. I’m looking down a career pathway of becoming a Child Psychologist, therapist/counselor, school counselor, behaviorist therapist or something along that path. I love working with children and I want to make a career out of it. I have received AAs in Psychology, Allied Health, Natural Science and Health Education. I love to help others. I’ve always wanted to follow in my grandma’s footsteps with saving lives and making a difference by working in the medical field. I am COVID-19 vaccinated and boosted as well as flu vaccinated. I have also received all my other vaccines. My experience with children goes back to when I first started babysitting at the age of 12. I have worked at day cares where I have experience with children from infancy to 15 years of age. I am comfortable with all age groups. I do not smoke. I love animals as well so pets are never an issue! I have experience house sitting/petsitting as well. I have been house sitting/petsitting since I was 13 years old. It first started out with watching my neighbor’s house and cats while they were gone and progressed to dog sitting/cat sitting at other people’s houses. I am very responsible and respectful of other people's homes. I clean up after myself and make sure the house looks like it did when I arrived.

I am a teacher with over 7 years of experience caring for and providing education to children. 2 years ago I established myself as an independent teacher after having worked as an Early Childhood educator in a Waldorf school for 5 years. As an independent teacher I specialize in teaching sewing and clothing design. I also enjoy providing care for young children and pets. I am a very attentive and gentle woman with lots of experience as a teacher and I possess a natural care giving ability. I have mainly taught children ages 2-11, along with recently providing care for a young man of 22 years who had a disability. I have been teaching clothing design & sewing over the past 9 years. Hello! My name is Erica and I've been watching children beginning with my little sister when I was in jr. high. Since then I have babysat children of all ages. I have worked at preschools and have taken classes in early childhood development. I taught my own class of 3 year olds, but have served as an aide in classes ranging from infant to 5 years. I am a fully licensed cosmetologist & work as a hairstylist at a salon in Berkeley. I love children of all ages and they tend to love me.
