Alongside nursing, I have worked as a nanny/ babysitter for the past 9 years, caring mostly for the newborn - 4 year age group. Duties within these roles have included engaging in creative play within the home, driving to playgroup and activities, walks to the local park and pool, excursions to the zoo, along with house duties relating to the children including cooking, laundry and general tidying. HI! I have a Masters degree in Social work and retired from being a social worker for 30+ years during covid, including with youth. I have been a contract nanny for a 13 month old and 5 yr old (about 15 years ago). I volunteer for an outdoor nature camp with 5-9 year olds. Love to do art, music, movement, singing, silliness and play. I have been doing house and petsitting for the past 3 years, not active with urbansitter much. Hii! I’m Jasmine. I’m 28 years old and some would call me the child whisperer. I worked for preschools with all ages from 2[removed] and babysat in my time off as well. From 2020-2024 I was a registered behavioral therapist working with kids that range from 2-10 years old. I have now split time as a middle school special education paraprofessional between APS & LPS since 2024. Kids have been my passion since high school, they give me such a spark that I never get tired of. While my main focus is child care I don’t mind a few pet favors here and there, I love dogs! I also don’t mind a little cleaning around the house. I mostly do this because I believe all parents deserve a fun night out!
