Some settings I have worked in have been… -ILC as a para educator for middle & high schoolers with cognitive and intellectual disabilities. -Respite care, taking care of primarily kiddo’s and some adults with conditions like down syndrome, autism, and more in the comforts of their own home. -LTAC as a CNA working with older populations often in their twilight hours -Memory Care, working primarily with Alzheimer’s, parkinson’s, and stroke patients. -Covid ICU as a CNA to help my community through 2020& 2021 including the first ever covid related lung transplant. -Multidisciplinary surgical post op as a Lead CNA -And Burn ICU as a Burn Technician providing wound care and assisting with debridement and other procedures. I am Vaccinated for everything under the sun, I am CNA, AHA BLS, and Surgical Technician certified. I have hefty experience with clinical skills such as CPR, Urinary Catheterization, Heimlich Maneuver, G Tube Feeds, Ostomy and stoma care, Wound Care and more. Beyond my clinical expirience, I also have a passion for working with individuals with all kinds of needs. One exception is I drive an old pickup with two seats and no airbags so I can not drive anyone in my car but I can drive any vehicle provided for me.
