Hi, I’m Lindsay! As the second oldest of five, I grew up helping care for my younger siblings, including my brother with Williams Syndrome. This experience taught me the importance of patience, kindness, and understanding in caregiving. I began babysitting for other families at age 14 and have worked with children of all ages, from newborns to 12 years old. I graduated from college in 2018, spent two years in Boston, and moved to Denver in August 2020. I have a genuine love for spending time with kids and enjoy creating fun, engaging experiences through arts and crafts, playing games outside, and reading stories. I’m known for being creative, energetic, and playful, and I always strive to provide a nurturing and supportive environment. I have been a Direct Support Professional serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for the past 8 years. I have worked with all ages, infants to elderly. I am very passionate about being someone you can trust with your loved ones and I always strive to go above and beyond. I am CPR and first aid certified, defensive driving certified, QMAP certified (for medication administration), there are other certifications I have and now I have taken courses on COVID-19 on how to best protect myself and clients I work with.

Hi! I’m a 4th Grade teacher in Denver Public Schools district on summer break. I’ve taught elementary grade levels (all subjects!) for 6 years. Throughout the years, I’ve taught 3rd grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. I am very familiar with the Literacy and Math standards progression from K-5 and the strategies/language students need to learn to reach their academic goals. In past summers, I have taught summer school, coordinated summer camps, and worked for the parks and rec department a coaching soccer and basketball. I believe that learning needs to be a great mix of hard work and fun! This summer, I decided to take the summer off and not commit to a full time position. So here I am- still very much eager to be around kids on a part time basis. I’m excited to meet you, your family, and learn about how I can be the most helpful!

Hello! My name is Lauren, and I am a mom to a 2.5-year-old. I am CPR and first aid certified. In addition to this, I've had many different experiences caring for children, ranging from being a nanny to teaching and working at youth organizations and schools. Experience: --I was a nanny for a 13- and 14-year-old the summer after college. --I worked at a home for children in Mexico for three years, where I cared for the children and helped with various education projects. --I taught reading and writing at an elementary school and was a Community School Director at a junior high. --I have a Master’s Degree in International Development and Education and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy. Beyond childcare, I also have experience caring for animals. At home, I take care of our two dogs as well as geese, ducks, and chickens. These responsibilities have taught me the importance of patience, attentiveness, and maintaining a routine—qualities that carry over into caregiving for children. I love caring for children and animals alike and have made it my life’s work to nurture, teach, and support others!
