Now, after 6 years of travel nursing, I am taking a break from the extremely demanding, fast-pace bedside nursing, to pursue my masters degree to become a Nurse Practitioner. My school is online which gives me lots of flexibility and availability! And I am also bilingual in Spanish and English. Before becoming a nurse, I worked as a nanny for many years and continued working with my families all throughout nursing school. With that said, I have extensive experience working with kiddos of all ages, including kiddos with special needs and those with complex medical conditions. As a nurse/nanny perk, I hold current BLS and CPR certifications; and am very comfortable in any type of situations, including emergencies. HI! I have a Masters degree in Social work and retired from being a social worker for 30+ years during covid, including with youth. I have been a contract nanny for a 13 month old and 5 yr old (about 15 years ago). I volunteer for an outdoor nature camp with 5-9 year olds. Love to do art, music, movement, singing, silliness and play. I have been doing house and petsitting for the past 3 years, not active with urbansitter much.
