I’m a grandmother with over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for children of all ages. I’m patient, loving, reliable, and skilled in routines, safety, meals, and play. I’ve also supported seniors and managed household needs with care and attention.

I’m a warm, reliable, and experienced caregiver who truly enjoys working with children. Much of my experience comes from being deeply involved in caring for my four nieces and four nephews from infancy through their high school years and beyond. While not day-to-day, my involvement has been extensive and consistent during the times I was needed, full weekends, outings, and family trips where I managed meals, activities, errands, and daily routines. During those periods, I naturally stepped in as an extension of their parents, creating a calm, structured, and engaging environment. Children connect with me easily - I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely present, which helps them feel comfortable and at ease. I focus on keeping children engaged, active, and cared for, whether that’s preparing simple meals, getting outside, playing games, helping with homework, or creating a calm, easy rhythm at home. Outside of caregiving, I run a home organizing and downsizing business, which reflects my thoughtful, organized, and detail-oriented approach. I am 29 years old, live in shelton, and am currently in my graduate program for clinical mental health and I am in my internship phase to become a licensed professional counselor. It is really hard to work full time due to the time I have to put into my school and internship. I am looking to do nanny work so I am able to have some income while having flexibility. I have taken care of kids for 12+ years. I was a nanny for a family of 4 kids and 3 dogs for 3+ years. They were all under the age of 8 when I first started with them, and the 2 youngest girls were twins! I have always loved kids and have 2 nieces that I adore (one is 3 and one is 1). I have experience in school settings and psychiatric hospital settings. I am dependable and trustworthy. I absolutely love kids. I am always willing to help out around the house! I'm great with all ages and enjoy playing games, coloring, going outside etc! I am looking for part time work. Schedule is pretty open. I have an ESA golden retriever female Kona who will be 5. Because i have a dog, I cannot be gone for more than 5 hours at a time. She is great with kids and other dogs as well. Well behaved, does not jump or bark. If any family is up for it, she can come with me and I would be able to do more hours! I am very neat and organized and will always clean up, you won't even notice that a dog has been there :)
