Hard working parents or guardians who are in need of someone to watch their children, while they are at work or just want a break to take care of personal business. Be assured that you can count on me to take care of your children. I am a mother of two children. I used to be a stayed at home mom. While doing so I also took care of my neighbors, families and friends children. Safety and attentiveness were my first priority while taking care of them. The parents were very happy for a job well done. I am very caring, reliable, dependable, respectful, supportive and fun to be around. I enjoy watching kids. I have experience with kids from 0- 5 years old. I occasionally watch older kids to give parents a break or a night out opportunity . Responsibilities include but not limited to meals preparation, engaging them in educational activities, helping with homework, giving baths and more. I’m a license CNA, CPR and First Aid certified. I enjoy caring for the elderly, helping with all their daily activities, companionship, light housekeeping, driving to doctors appointments or running errands. I enjoy cleaning and organizing houses. Occasionally I do cleaning for busy families. I have many years of hotel cleaning experience as a housekeeper. I am currently only available for date nights, weekends, and holidays. My name is Sarah and I am a graduate of Fordham University at Lincoln Center in New York City. I have taken courses in Early Childhood and Special Education. I spent awhile in graduate school at the University of Massachusetts. I currently live in Delaware and work as an archaeologist for the State. I started babysitting for people outside my family when I was twelve, and so I've been babysitting for about 14 years now. I have two younger siblings that I have watched for much longer than that. I have watched newborns up to teenagers. I have done everything from a full time nannying position to a mother's helper to just date night sitting. I have experience with large groups of children, through working with both mothers groups and running crafts and activities at a small toy store. I also have experience with children with autism and various special needs. I have worked with children with Downs, but I have the most experience with autistic children. I have worked in several preschool as a substitute. I love taking the kids outside to play. I've been told I can play a mean game of Princess Wizard Ninja make-believe. If it's not a great day outside, I love playing games with the kids inside. I bond with kids using their interests to engage them in age appropriate activities. I do have access to a car and I don't mind running errands or helping with household chores and cooking. I also have no problem with pets in the household.
