Hi! I’m Alexis and I am a 24 year old nanny and tutor. In 2024 I graduated from California State University San Marcos with a bachelor’s in Liberal Studies. In my degree program I have spent over 100 hours in classrooms, teaching and observing various grade levels. I have also done private tutoring and babysitting for several years. In my spare time I like to read, paint, and go for walks with my dogs. Most people would describe me as bubbly, energetic, and down to earth. I hope I am a great fit as your sitter!

Provided childcare for families with children ranging in age from 2 to 8 years old. Worked as a classroom assistant at my synagogue for two years, assisting with children ages 7–8, collaborating with the teacher to help teach the Hebrew language and about Jewish culture. Served as a camp counselor for two years, supervising children ages 6–8 and ensuring their safety and well-being during both indoor and outdoor activities. Worked with children ages 2–4 in my high school preschool program, helping lead educational and developmental learning activities. Volunteered at Camp Jenny - an organization that gives children from an impoverished community an overnight summer camp experience that includes a variety of activities, sports and team-building exercises. At Camp Jenny, I was responsible for overnight care and supervision of children ages 7–8 and assisted with daily camp activities and routines. I would describe myself as a very loyal, flexible and responsible person who’s easygoing and enjoys creating a comfortable, positive environment. I like doing simple, fun things like game nights or movies nights in, and I’m always open to learning new things and trying new experiences. I am dependable, adaptable, and I try to bring calm and friendly energy wherever I am!

I have a BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) from USF. I am a licensed Realtor . I like to stay busy and have volunteered for over 30 years with a local hospital. Since Covid, I am not longer doing that. My greatest joys in life are my two sons and six grandchildren. I am active and enjoy taking my grands to the park and the pool. I also enjoy helping home schooling them. I have volunteered at my church for years, often taking people to doctor appointments and chemo. I have my own car and am able to run errands if needed. I love cats and dogs. I enjoy walking dogs. The last dog I took care of, Sunny, needed long walks. We did 3 miles a day plus. This was in Idaho. Not sure that is practical in Tampa in the summer.
