Hello! Thank you for viewing my profile. I'm Kayla Spain, 25 years old. I have recently graduated from Alabama State University, majoring in Biology Pre-health. I have been caring for children since I became an older sister to my younger brother. I became a babysitter on a regular basis and also was there for my younger cousins as well. I have a lot of experience working with infants and toddlers. I've worked for a daycare at the age of 14- 18 where I prepared meals, developed lesson plans, and also maintained a safe and clean environment. I'd describe my personality as fun, attentive, and caring. I like working with kids because I grew up in a pretty large family and love being a part of the development and growth of children! I love seeing the moment a new skill or trait clicks for them, and I love helping them turn into the people they were created to be! I started working with kids in middle school through babysitting and working in the church nursery and kids classes. I currently serve as the deacon of kids ministry at my church and regularly serve in child care on Sunday mornings. I worked as a full time nanny for a few months after graduating college. I've been babysitting and nannying off and on since then, and most recently worked as an afterschool program coordinator with elementary and middle school students. I have experience with all ages, but especially love to care for toddlers and young elementary. In my spare time, I like to read lots of fun books, watch movies, and go for walks!
