Hello! My name is Tierney, and I have been working with children for over 5 years now. I am also the oldest of 5 siblings and have a huge family, so kids have always been around. I love working with kiddos and helping as many families as possible. I have a lot of patience and a calm, gentle nature that I believe creates a nurturing environment ☺️. I currently work at a childcare facility in Elkhorn as a Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher. I’m looking for other opportunities during my free time after work! I have worked with children ranging from 6 weeks to about 10 years old. I have the most experience with babies and toddlers, but I get along well with children of all ages! I also have my CPR and First Aid certifications. I am more than willing to cook and do simple household chores if needed. I love arts and crafts, especially setting up fun activities for kids! Cats and dogs are no problem for me, I will add.

I was raised with 4 younger siblings with a mother who had an in home daycare. I learned at a very early age to care for children of all ages. At 16 I nannied for two different families. At, 20 I worked as an assistant teacher with toddlers at Creighton University in the Russell Child Development Center. I became a mother at 21. I had my second child shortly after and left employment to become a stay at home mother. I than started watching family members and friends children within my home. Over the next few years, I gave birth to my last two children. I continued over the years to care for multiple nieces and nephews and friends children in my home. My children are now 20, 19, 17 and 15. I am now 41 years old. I love caring for children and it is so incredibly innate and second nature to me. I would feel honored to help nurture and care for families in need of a reliable and trustworthy caregiver. I recently, in June of 2026, completed my training/testing to become a Registered Behavior Technician(RBT) in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for children with autism. I’m so excited to grow in this new role! I hope to help families that may struggle to find care with traditional caregivers/babysitters for their children with special needs.💜

Hi there! I am a mother of an outgoing 16 year old daughter and a sweet little 10 year old boy who live out of state with their dad so I am able to help on my free time for other children. I love kids and have the personal experience to back it up as well. I am outgoing and fun but also very much keep a routine and schedule and feel it’s important for kids as well. So whatever your needs are, I’d be happy to meet the most important little ones in your world and take care of them as if they were my own. I also have dog and cat care experience as I’ve grown up around them and also have a sweet loving cat of my own now. I’m the go-to pet sitter for my family and friends as well because I love animals and welcome the opportunity to give love and attention to them but also am very responsible and make sure any particular needs are met such as giving medication on time or special food requirements or anything else our furry children may need!
