Hello! My name is Aysha. I’m an undergraduate at DePaul University pursing a psychology degree, but outside of that and I’ve been working in childcare for 3-4 years. Since high school (2019) I’ve been tutoring children ages 12-18 from everything from algebra to trigonometry and even some language classes. Directly after graduating from highschool I’ve worked as an assistant teacher for It Takes a Village Family of schools where I was an assistant teacher/after school mentor for 3rd and fourth graders. Here’s where I recovered most of my early childhood learning credits as well as where I became CPR/First Aid Certified and received certificates for working with older youth. Due to commuting times however, I decided to work in more part-time daycare positions. That were more college schedule friendly. For around a year now I’ve been working in daycare facilities through an app called Tandem. Working with smaller children comes more naturally to be (being an eldest of 5) and toddler-aged children and I follow of routine/pattern which I find works well with my natural abilities. Through tandem I also took classes in preventing sudden infant death and shaken baby syndrome. By working with Tandem I am also required to be consistently up to date with my TDAP, COVID, and Flu vaccines. Outside of childcare I would call myself very math/science inclined. Currently I’m a statistics tutor at DePaul but I’m also a French minor and would love to share my love of language/culture with your child. But I’m also a big fan of arts/crafts, including painting/drawing, so whatever your kid is into, I’m sure we can find common ground in some way. My plan after college is to become a child psychologist so this is all really in my field of interest! Overall I consider myself a very dynamic caregiver with a lot of experience and ambition and potential to improve. And if chosen, I would love to be an addition to your family’s dynamic or even just help to lighten your load on a date night. Please ask me for my reference list or inquire more, I’m always happy to share!
“Aysha is great to work with. She is very punctual, responsive in her communication. She keeps our daughter very engaged with reading, painting and other forms of art (which she's very good at!). We would highly recommend her. ”
Hello! I’m Michelle, and I recently moved from New York City to Chicago. I bring over 3 years of experience as an Emergency Room nurse, where I gained valuable skills in patient care, safety, and attention to detail. Before becoming a nurse, I spent many years tutoring and babysitting children of all ages, starting at the age of 13. In addition to babysitting, I am happy to help with household chores, cooking, and cleaning. I can also provide care for seniors, using my medical background to offer an extra layer of support and safety. While I don’t have a driver’s license, I am reliable, responsible, and always ensure a high standard of care. I look forward to helping your family with both child care and household needs!
I have a good experience with child care I have been a babysitter for 2 years. and above all because I love working with children, it is something that I am passionate about. I have been with needy children as a volunteer and I have done everything with love. I think that love and commitment to children is a reason that makes me a good babysitter . I would also like to mention a little about my responsibilities I have taken care of children from 1 years old to 12 years old. It is also important to mention that I am a responsible girl and that I know how to manage my emotions. Most people say that I am very loving and that everything I do is with love. I want you to know that I am a good babysitter because your children will always be well taken care of by me and I really know the value of family , I would like them to learn a lot from you. I am available every weekend at any time if you contact me beforehand and during the week from 11-2
“Alison is an exceptional caregiver. She demonstrates excellent responsiveness when planning and punctuality. She proactively asked me about my son‘s interest. With this information, she engaged my son and his favorite activities rather than Screen Time. Alison is highly intelligent and takes pride and her work. It is clear that she loves kids. My son thoroughly enjoyed his time with her and I highly recommend her to anyone.”
Hello my name is Shannon or Shan. During the school year I am a program manager for before and after school programs at a CPS grade school. I work with all ages from Pre K to seventh grade in the program. I have many years experience babysitting for infants and toddlers. My schedule is currently very open for the summer so I have a lot of flexibility. I love all animals, I myself have two cats, and also have several years experience pet sitting, mainly dogs and cats.
Hi, my name is A’Raya’ and I ama current sophomore at CSU. I’ve been babysitting children under 1, toddlers, and school aged kids since I was 10-12, starting with my family. I love cooking, art, reading/writing, board games, and writing. I would be able to help with homework and tutoring, meal times, cleaning, and creative activities. I am CPR and AED certified and planning to get my Child Development Associate. I love working with kids and have since worked at two summer camps ranging from ages 4-13. I have taken care of my own for 4 years, including: dogs, cats, fish, and a turtle.
