Hi I’m Bella! I am an early childhood education, major with a special letter of approval for special education at Illinois State University, but I am originally from Elmwood Park. I’m able to come home some weekends and will be home all summer! I have a big passion for working with kids and worked with children for many years. Currently this summer I am working for the WSSRA 1on1 with special needs children and am available during the evenings on weekdays and afternoon-evenings on weekends. Previously I worked at Elmwood Park summer camp for four summers, and also have experience babysitting for family and friends. This taught me to engage with kids with different interests, ages, and developmental challenges. I believe I have a strong background in youth care, and keep the energy high! I bring skills in leadership, conflict, resolution, communication, activity planning, and always adapting to meet each child’s individual needs. I am deeply committed to fostering a safe and enjoyable experience. I enjoy spending time with all and would love to be a helping hand to your family!

I grew up taking care of my little cousins and dogs! I used to work in a nursing home as a wait staff. I am going into nursing for pediatrics. I now own a little black cat named Jasper. I enjoy doing art, reading, and playing outside with kids!

Hello! I am Maya! I am currently a sophomore at NEIU (Northeastern Illinois University). Currently I am offering child and animal care. I work at the Child Care Center at my college ! I work with 1-5 years olds. I’m a very caring and loving person. I have experience taking care of many children. I also used to be a lifeguard so I am trained in CPR and first aid! I love to cook and bake many things. I have one dog named Felix. I love to explore around Chicago and go on new adventures. I love doing art crafts as well. I used to be in the art program in my high school. I’m a very goal oriented girl!

Hi! I have been working with kids for 15 years. I love playing music and games with the children I work with. I also like to bake and cook teaching the kids valuable skills as well. In the past five years I have babysat children ranging from 6 months old to 12 years old. I nannied and did e-learning/school during the pandemic with a first grader and fifth grader with a range of responsibilities from preparing meals to helping complete classwork to planning activities for the day. I am currently going back to school to be a special education teacher.
