Greetings! I am First Aid and CPR Certified, and 37 years old. I have raised and trained two dogs, cared for seniors experiencing dementia and have 20 years experience caring for children of all ages. My strategy with kids (and seniors) is to slow down, answer all questions and give them options. As big sister to three boys, my entire childhood and young adulthood involved caring for kids. Once I left home, I became a certified post-partum doula, then went on to nanny full time. I became more curious about teaching kids, so became a theater teacher for kids ages 3-11 for 6 years. I am looking to build some caretaking relationships for children, pets and seniors.

Hi I’m Bella! I am an early childhood education, major with a special letter of approval for special education at Illinois State University, but I am originally from Elmwood Park. I’m able to come home some weekends and will be home all summer! I have a big passion for working with kids and worked with children for many years. Currently this summer I am working for the WSSRA 1on1 with special needs children and am available during the evenings on weekdays and afternoon-evenings on weekends. Previously I worked at Elmwood Park summer camp for four summers, and also have experience babysitting for family and friends. This taught me to engage with kids with different interests, ages, and developmental challenges. I believe I have a strong background in youth care, and keep the energy high! Hi there! My name’s Mikyhia, and I recently graduated from DePaul University with a degree in African and Black Diaspora Studies and a minor in Political Science. I’ve always loved working with kids— I’ve spent years, before and during my time at university– mentoring, teaching, and caring for children and teens, from little ones in my community to older students in classroom and program settings. I’m passionate about helping children learn through creativity, whether that means storytelling, art projects, or imaginative play. My background as a creative professional and instructor has taught me how to engage kids in ways that spark curiosity and confidence. I love designing fun, educational activities that combine play with learning — like mini art lessons, building projects, or creative writing games. Throughout my professional journey, I’ve worked in roles that required patience, leadership, and organization — from developing educational programs at DePaul to mentoring teens at the Best Buy Teen Tech Center. These experiences strengthened my belief that every child learns differently, and that creativity is one of the most powerful tools for growth and connection. I’m excited to bring that same energy, care, and imagination into your home — helping your little ones explore, create, and feel supported every step of the way. And a little fun fact about me to break the ice: I played the cello professionally for almost 10 years and would like to pick it up again someday (for now its a fun hobby of mine)

Hello! I just graduated from Columbia College Chicago! I have been babysitting since I can remember. I’m the oldest child of four. I have been a camp counselor, youth leader, babysitter, nanny - you name it haha! I love kids! I taught improv at ChiArts to high schoolers with a professor from Columbia! I just moved, post graduation, and would love to find some babysitting opportunities around the Logan Square area!

I am an ER Physician Assistant waiting to begin my job in April/May! I love kiddos and am looking to help families out while supplementing my income before beginning my career. My previous experience includes babysitting, working with children and adults with developmental disabilities, and working in a pediatric hospital. I spent 4 years as an ER tech at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH which is a Level 1 trauma center so I am very informed on safety, illness prevention, and complex medical conditions. I have experience with infants 0 days old all the way up to 18 year olds. I absolutely adore younger kids and babysitting opportunities so I can have fun doing crafts and playing outside! I grew up in Denver, CO and love the outdoors and really enjoy taking kiddos outside when possible and away from their tablets. I also grew up with cats and currently have two so I am very comfortable with them. I also love dogs and have experience dog sitting.
