Hi! I am a college student majoring in Accounting at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have been a swim instructor for kids under the age of 12 for a year and I have tutored children how to play piano for 2-3 years. I am very social, patient and fun and have loved my teaching jobs and would like to move onto babysitting kids and taking care of pets as well! I love arts and crafts, games, fun activities, teaching, animals and walks! I am also a fluent Spanish speaker and an intermediate German speaker. My mom has been a full time nanny for 15 years and I have learned a lot on how to be an excellent babysitter!
“Katie was wonderful with our twin 7 year old boys! ”
My name is Laurelai and I am a former speech-language pathologist with experience working clinically with ages 3-14 and experience babysitting all ages. I now work full-time in medical education/administration, and am looking for one-time or as-needed babysitting opportunities. I have intermediate sign language experience. I have worked with multiples (twins and triplets) and children with special needs including cerebral palsy and oppositional/defiant disorder. I have experience working with infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. In college I minored in vocal performance because I love to sing! I also played violin for 10+ years. I love to play games, read books, visit parks, sing songs and have fun! I provide services throughout the city of Chicago. **At this time I am not available for school pick-ups/drop-offs or recurring positions. I am flexible on nights and weekends. Feel free to reach out about last-minute or one-time needs!** Up-to-date on all vaccinations including COVID-19 & annual flu shot. Hi! My name is Tatiana. I’m a lead daycare teacher at a Reggio Emilia inspired center with a strong passion for working with children. I love creating fun, hands-on moments through arts and crafts, and I always aim to make every day both safe and enjoyable. At the moment, my main goal is to work as much as I can to save up so I can return to school, while continuing to do what I love supporting children’s growth, creativity, and happiness. I would be excited to get to know your family and be a positive, reliable part of your child’s life.
Hi parents! I’m Imari—a creative, calm, and joyful presence based in Rogers Park. I’m a mom to the sweetest toddler and a longtime caregiver with a deep love for little ones and all the beautiful and chaotic moments that come with raising them. I began my career in New York, working in creative advertising in fashion, before stepping away from the industry to pursue passion projects that reconnected me to my roots in Belize. Four years ago, love brought me to Chicago, where I’ve built a new chapter with my little family and embraced a life centered on caregiving and creativity. I have experience with children of all ages, from newborns to preteens, and I’m well-versed in feeding routines, naps, school transitions, bedtime wind-downs, and all the small moments in between that make a big difference. I show up with patience, creativity, and a deep sense of care (and usually a few art projects or songs in my back pocket!). I’d love to connect with families looking for someone nurturing, organized, and genuinely passionate about being part of their village. Let’s chat if you think I might be the right fit for yours!
“Imari was wonderful with my 4.5 year old On time and had a great evening while my husband and I were out. Can’t wait to have her back.”
