Hi, my name is Kati! I have been working with kids and pets for 12 years. I am currently in the process of going back to graduate school for Occupational Therapy, hoping to work in the pediatric sector. I just finished a summer internship with a pediatric occupational therapy clinic where I learned about developmental milestones, sensory needs, and helping kids communicate, as well as a variety of other skills! I currently provide part-time after school care to three children, so I have a good amount of flexibility and availability for daytime coverage, and date nights. I have also provided after school nannying for a family in Cincinnati for two years and a one other family in Chicago for three years. I have provided childcare to dozens of other families across the city, including for school closures, childcare gaps, and date nights. I’ve worked in the childcare part of conferences and weddings multiple times. I was a camp counselor for a theatre camp for two years leading ages 5-18 through a variety of activities. I currently volunteer at Lurie Children’s Hospital’s Almost Home Kids. I am CPR certified for the fifth time.

Hi there! My name is Alexa and I am based in North Center! I have about 15 years of experience working with kids and hope to get back into working with local families and babysitting again. I used to work with kids all the time but slowed down when I had a full-time job. I still have a full-time job however my schedule allows me afternoons free and I thought I would see if I can fill any afterschool/date night babysitting needs!  I have worked with kids of all ages (newborn to preteens who just need overseeing to make sure the house doesn't burn down!) and was also a camp counselor for many summers in highschool and college. During college, I worked at Lakeshore Sport and Fitness as a daycare staff member and also ran their preschool transitions program as their lead team member. I ended up becoming a regular sitter for many families from Lakeshore (hence the lack of Urban Sitter activity!)
