I’m am CPR certified, a non smoker, and have over 10 years of experience. I’m 28 years old and a Chicago native! I grew up in Rogers park and now live in the North suburbs! I currently work full time downtown on a hybrid schedule. I have availability on weekends (morning and/or night). I do have my own car and work with families across the city and select suburbs! I graduated from Depaul University in 2020 in political science. I also have an Illinois Teacher’s substitute license. I have been on Urbansitter since 2017 as I started off doing date nights while in undergrad. I had multiple part time families before COVID, as well as some families during that eventually moved out of Chicago. I have families where i have done overnights for while parents are away, as well as pet/house sitting. I have experience with hotel sitting for weddings or while parents may be from out of town! I am comfortable working with 4-5 kiddos at a time- as I have experience working with different ages at once! On the day of the booking, I will make sure to update you on the kid(s) to ensure that they are in good hands :) I come from a big family that are all located in the Chicagoland area. My mom is a teacher in the city so, I get many of my great skills from her! I also help raised my little sister, who is now 18 years old :) Looking forward to meeting you! I am always open to a quick phone call or a working session to get to know your family and to see if it’s a good fit!

Very nurturing and we were so comfortable to have her look after our newborn.

Booked by 35 families in Great Lakes, IL

Hi there! My name is Caitlyn and I am 30 years old with over 13 years of true nannying and babysitting experience. I first started babysitting neighborhood kids at age 15, quickly becoming the go to babysitter on my block for date nights. I was a full time nanny for 2 kiddos (7 & 10) in Evanston the summer of 2014, and a full time overnight camp counselor the summer before that for a cabin full of 8 year olds. Right after graduating from Loyola in 2017, I became a teachers assistant at a private preschool/daycare in Lakeview, helping out with all classrooms from newborns-5 years. Experienced with children of all ages, I love supporting continuous development and growth and take a lot of pride in my ability to connect with and teach children; I am punctual, experienced, and would like to think lots of fun :) After working in tech sales for 5 years, my heart called me back to early childhood, and after being a short term nanny for a 3mo old girl before she began daycare full time last summer, I began teaching in Children’s House (3-5 years) at Guidepost Montessori. My fiancé and I just moved to Fox River Grove to be closer to family, so I’m available in the surrounding areas most weekday evenings after 5:30-6pm, and occasional weekends! Can’t wait to hear from you :)

Liana $20 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I am a current MBA student at Northwestern Kellogg looking to make some extra money while in school. I'm originally from California and, prior to Kellogg, was working as a clinical researcher at Stanford for over 8 years running clinical trials for Type 1 diabetes technology. My working role involves working with children of all ages (as young as 3 and up) in a healthcare setting, requiring 24/7 oversight for safety. Much of the research I do involve multi-day studies to oversee how new medical devices perform; I’m essentially serving as a babysitter and creating/overseeing activities to do (it’s hard to explain, but I’m more than happy to do so if you’d like more details about what this means!). I have my BS in human development from UC Davis. Aside from my current role, I have multiple years of experience working with children during college in classroom settings, through various baby sitting gigs, and even teaching piano. I love puzzles, baking, playing with my pup (and generally all dogs), and being outside and active as much as possible! I most recently spent a quarter abroad in Australia and was fortunate enough to complete a few multi day backpacking trips around Australia and New Zealand I love being creative and am happy to do arts and crafts and supervised baking projects with your child! I have been CPR/First Aid trained and certified multiple times in the past (including toddler/infant) for my job, though that has since expired. That said, I am confident in my abilities to address emergency situations from my past trainings.

I enjoy traveling when I am able to, and remain active. I also am a bit artsy I enjoy painting, coloring and making crafts. I am also trying to learn how to sew currently.
