Hi! My name is Kara and I'm currently a sophomore at UIC studying theatre. I am offering childcare, cat sitting, and household services. I've always loved babysitting and have been watching infants, toddlers, and kids since I was fourteen (I have a really big family with lots of younger cousins who I've helped out with all my life), as well as worked at a daycare where I took care of children ages infant to five years old. Due to my theatre background I regularly include make believe play in my interactions with children, using different voices and mannerisms while asking the children questions and helping to build their imaginative skills. On top of that I've also been certified by the Red Cross in infant and regular CPR. I can also work as a household assistant and can clean and run errands. As I have my own cat I am more than comfortable with cat sitting and have done so for multiple family friends.

I am currently a freshman at Elmhurst University in Illinois, and play for the volleyball team. I am studying marketing. I grew up in Las Vegas and attend Bishop Gorman High School. I come to Vegas during school breaks and work there as well as in Elmhurst. My older sister has two kids that I have been helping with since I was 11. They are now the ages of 7 and 1. I drive now so I take them to their extracurricular activities and entertain them with fun activities including crocheting, knitting, painting, coloring, playing outside, as well as cooking. I am super comfortable helping with running errands and cleaning around the house. I have 2 cats and 3 dogs so working with animals is no problem! I love playing with animals as well as taking them out for walks!

I am a junior psychology student at UIC with a 4.0 GPA. I started babysitting when I was in 8th grade. I have worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor for four years and maintain a first aid and CPR certification from the Red Cross Association.
