I have been a pediatric speech language pathologist for 14 years. Prior to beginning my career, I had extensive baby-sitting experience. I will provide care for my nephews and niece regularly. I have extensive experience working with children with special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. In addition to providing speech and language services, I am also a feeding therapist. I am CPR-certified. I am just looking to do some work slightly outside of my career-field.

Growing up in an in-home daycare run by my mom, caring for children is one of the things I know best--I have over ten years of professional experience working as a daycare teacher, babysitter, and nanny. Past work has included caring for 1-5 kids at a time, at a range of ages from infant to school-aged. Greetings! I am First Aid and CPR Certified, and 37 years old. I have raised and trained two dogs, cared for seniors experiencing dementia and have 20 years experience caring for children of all ages. My strategy with kids (and seniors) is to slow down, answer all questions and give them options. As big sister to three boys, my entire childhood and young adulthood involved caring for kids. Once I left home, I became a certified post-partum doula, then went on to nanny full time. I became more curious about teaching kids, so became a theater teacher for kids ages 3-11 for 6 years.
