Hi there! My name’s Mikyhia, and I recently graduated from DePaul University with a degree in African and Black Diaspora Studies and a minor in Political Science. I’ve always loved working with kids— I’ve spent years, before and during my time at university– mentoring, teaching, and caring for children and teens, from little ones in my community to older students in classroom and program settings. I’m passionate about helping children learn through creativity, whether that means storytelling, art projects, or imaginative play. My background as a creative professional and instructor has taught me how to engage kids in ways that spark curiosity and confidence. I love designing fun, educational activities that combine play with learning — like mini art lessons, building projects, or creative writing games. Throughout my professional journey, I’ve worked in roles that required patience, leadership, and organization — from developing educational programs at DePaul to mentoring teens at the Best Buy Teen Tech Center. These experiences strengthened my belief that every child learns differently, and that creativity is one of the most powerful tools for growth and connection. I’m excited to bring that same energy, care, and imagination into your home — helping your little ones explore, create, and feel supported every step of the way. And a little fun fact about me to break the ice: I played the cello professionally for almost 10 years and would like to pick it up again someday (for now its a fun hobby of mine)

I am an ER Physician Assistant waiting to begin my job in April/May! I love kiddos and am looking to help families out while supplementing my income before beginning my career. My previous experience includes babysitting, working with children and adults with developmental disabilities, and working in a pediatric hospital. I spent 4 years as an ER tech at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH which is a Level 1 trauma center so I am very informed on safety, illness prevention, and complex medical conditions. I have experience with infants 0 days old all the way up to 18 year olds. I absolutely adore younger kids and babysitting opportunities so I can have fun doing crafts and playing outside! I grew up in Denver, CO and love the outdoors and really enjoy taking kiddos outside when possible and away from their tablets. I also grew up with cats and currently have two so I am very comfortable with them. I also love dogs and have experience dog sitting.

Hi! I am Sydne! I just moved to Chicago with my sister after graduating from the University of Arizona this past year! I am beginning work at Lurie Children’s Hospital as a Registered Nurse this fall! I have been a sitter/ nanny for the last 7 years and keep doing it because I love spending time with kids and helping them grow into kind & inquisitive individuals. I am excited to meet new families and kids in the Chicago area!

Hi-my name is Arianna and I’m a Chicago native! I’ve been working in childcare since I was an early teenager, from volunteer work to nannying in recent years. I have experience from neonatal care all the way to school age children, but have a soft spot for infants. As a medical assistant, I’m trained and certified in BLS and CPR and have a vast knowledge on medical conditions and treatments. I can administer medications and provide wound care when medically indicated. I’m also available for household errands and have my own car and have never been in an accident. I’m more than flexible to help meet your needs!

Hi, My name is Alexandra! Caring for kids has always come naturally to me - I'm someone who genuinely loves providing calm, nurturing care and helping little ones feel safe, comfortable, and supported. I started working with kids in high school when I got to assist classes for kids ages 2-9 years at my dance studio. Since then, I've babysat for multiple families with children a variety of ages and spent two years working at a city daycare, caring for children from 6 months to 6 years old. Through that experience, I discovered that I especially love working with infants and toddlers and am drawn to the more nurturing side of caregiving. I studied psychology in college with the initial goal of becoming a teacher, and while my career path ultimately led elsewhere, my passion for caring for children has not left. I currently work full-time in a corporate setting, which has made me very reliable, organized, and communicative - qualities I would also bring to a caregiving role. Due to this schedule, I am mostly available on evenings and weekends, but can also provide some mother's helper care during the day and can be flexible! I am energetic, attentive, clean and responsible, and I take pride in being someone that parents can rely on and truly trust. I love supporting families and caring for children, and I'm grateful to be able to do meaningful work with little ones while helping out families before I have children of my own.
