Hi! My name is Tatiana. I’m a lead daycare teacher at a Reggio Emilia inspired center with a strong passion for working with children. I love creating fun, hands-on moments through arts and crafts, and I always aim to make every day both safe and enjoyable. At the moment, my main goal is to work as much as I can to save up so I can return to school, while continuing to do what I love supporting children’s growth, creativity, and happiness. I would be excited to get to know your family and be a positive, reliable part of your child’s life.
“We were in a pinch and Tatiana stepped up to help out! Much appreciated!”
Hello wonderful families, I'm a mother to 6 adult children and 8 grandchildren which means I'm around children everyday it keeps me on my toes. I'm a Chicago native. I worked as a lead infant /toddler teacher for Bright horizons and also as a full-time nanny and I also currently provide part time Babysitter services for so many great families throughout Chicago land. On Saturday's mornings I cared for a group of 20 children at a Jewish Synagogue and Saturdays at a Christian church while their parents attend services. I have worked with children for 25 plus years, Infants to School age I truly believe in teaching young children through -play. I have experience working with special needs children as well. I receive my education from Harold Washington College and Malcolm X College and studied in Early child development including infant toddler care and have countless hours of ongoing extensive training in infant care. I love working with children and being a part of their lives and introducing them to new and fun experiences, I love reading to them and encouraging them to use their imaginations. I enjoy been outdoors enjoying nature and its sounds. I am CPR and First aid certified in Infant, child, and adult and also have been vaccinated for all necessary vaccinations that are required to work with children Including the Covid-19 vaccination. When I have free time, I like to visit museums and take long walks and take pictures, I enjoy arts and crafts activities and being worth family. I enjoy providing a service for busy families who just needs a extra pair of hands around. I am currently looking for guaranteed hours full-time/- part-trimean evenings and weekend position and I'm available early mornings and on all holidays if needed, and open to working overnights if there's a need. Please feel free to contact me.
I am a 31 year old working and living in chicago. I enjoy being around children; their creativity and curiosity inspire me! Being the oldest of four siblings I understand the concern parents have for quality child care. I can offer transportation to or from school and activities. I am also happy to help with homework and prepare a meal. I am also cpr certified. I look forward to meeting you and your children!
Hello! My name is Jeanette. I moved to Chicago in 2021 to pursue my MA in Sound Arts and Industries at Northwestern University. I currently work as a freelance audio engineer and teaching artist in the local film and arts community, and I’m looking for part-time or occasional childcare opportunities between projects. Before moving to Chicago, I worked as an early childhood educator in New Mexico public schools and summer programs. I earned my BA from the University of New Mexico with an interdisciplinary focus in Early Childhood & Multicultural Education, Music Studies/Performance, and Communication. I have years of experience working with children from early childhood through teens as a teacher, nanny, and sitter. I love caregiving because it’s rewarding to support kids as they explore, learn, and grow while creating a safe, creative, and encouraging environment. I enjoy engaging kids through reading stories, singing songs and nursery rhymes, music, crafts, imaginative play, outdoor exploration, and sensory activities. I like following children’s interests and encouraging curiosity while also supporting routines and helping kids tidy up after activities. When screen time is allowed, I prefer guided movement breaks or short educational programs (like Danny Go, Ms. Rachel, or Kids TV 123), but I usually try to keep kids engaged with hands-on activities instead. I’m bilingual (fluent in Spanish), play a variety of string instruments, and am currently working toward my Deep Listening certification. I previously worked with a community organization in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood co-teaching expressive arts classes for children and families, and volunteered with ALAS as a violin instructor for a mariachi youth group. While living in Santa Fe, I also led an outdoor summer arts adventure program organizing nature-based art projects, movement games, and creative activities both outdoors and indoors. More recently, I’ve spent lots of time helping care for my two nieces (now ages 2 and 5), which keeps my toddler and early childhood play skills active. I’m trained in first aid and infant/toddler CPR and am happy to help with light household tasks during naps. I’m also happy to provide references or my resume upon request. Thank you for taking the time to read my bio, I hope to connect with your family soon!
“Jeanette did a wonderful job and had a delightful connection with our children.”
