Hi! I am a current MBA student at Northwestern Kellogg looking to make some extra money while in school. I'm originally from California and, prior to Kellogg, was working as a clinical researcher at Stanford for over 8 years running clinical trials for Type 1 diabetes technology. My working role involves working with children of all ages (as young as 3 and up) in a healthcare setting, requiring 24/7 oversight for safety. Much of the research I do involve multi-day studies to oversee how new medical devices perform; I’m essentially serving as a babysitter and creating/overseeing activities to do (it’s hard to explain, but I’m more than happy to do so if you’d like more details about what this means!). I have my BS in human development from UC Davis. Aside from my current role, I have multiple years of experience working with children during college in classroom settings, through various baby sitting gigs, and even teaching piano. I love puzzles, baking, playing with my pup (and generally all dogs), and being outside and active as much as possible! I most recently spent a quarter abroad in Australia and was fortunate enough to complete a few multi day backpacking trips around Australia and New Zealand I love being creative and am happy to do arts and crafts and supervised baking projects with your child! I have been CPR/First Aid trained and certified multiple times in the past (including toddler/infant) for my job, though that has since expired. That said, I am confident in my abilities to address emergency situations from my past trainings.

Hi! I am a college student off for summer break and am looking to help out families in the area! I have a ton of experience in childcare from 2 months old to 12 years old. I have worked summer camps and babysat for various families for around 5 years, was an afterschool nanny for a kindergartener one year, worked in a daycare, and last summer nannied full time for a 3 month old. I have CPR/first aid certification and am open to anything! I love playing games and being outside with kids and doing whatever they are interested in. My family also has 2 dogs so I am super comfortable with pets.

I worked for 2 years as an After School Nanny, picking up from Lincoln Park and driving home to Evanston, then staying with the amazing young person until the parents finished work. The Family then arranged for a Live-In Au Pair, but we keep in touch and they are an excellent reference. That family gave my information to a neighbor and I have been working with them for the past Three Years, driving 2 children home from school. They travel overseas during the Summer and will be leaving the country after Memorial Day. Next school year their children will attend a school much closer to home so I am seeking a new opportunity to work with a new Family. I have my own reliable SUV and a clean driving (and No criminal) record. I get along great with kids and they seem to like me too. I will prioritize your rules, follow your preferred snack and meal choices and mix homework or chores with encouragement and fun. Aside from many years of "Babysitting", I was a Certified Lifeguard, a Summer Camp Counselor and an Arts & Crafts Teacher at Sunday School. I also am a Trained Driver, having worked as a Chauffeur for almost 2 years. I'm a musician and like singing - music is a wonderful language.
