With over ten years of experience in child caregiving, I have developed a deep passion for supporting and nurturing children. Starting as a babysitter at the age of 12, I have worked with kids ranging from 9 months to 17 years old. My experience includes tutoring dyslexic students, working at a summer camp, and providing care for children with special needs. Currently, I serve as a behavioral therapist for autistic children, where I apply tailored strategies to support their growth and development. I am also a certified yoga teacher and was a lifeguard for many years. I am experienced in light household chores as well as having deep roots in nutrition, specifically anti-inflammatory diets. My personality is generally relaxed but I am fiercely loyal to the children in my care, meaning I need to work with a family that also views their child/children as complete people and treats them with respect. :) Also I appreciate adults who can be forward and up front about their boundaries and what they want from a caregiver.

I am in New York City for the summer in the middle of my MSW program at Simmons University. I have extensive experience working with children in a variety of capacities (school counselor, teacher assistant, afterschool assistant, ABA assistant therapist, school social work intern, babysitter) I am a somewhat recent graduate from Boston College with an Applied Psychology and Human Development B.A. I am currently pursuing my MSW at Simmons University and am looking to help families with occasional or part-time babysitting, pet sitting, or other services. Hi! I’m Adelaide, a senior majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Belmont University. Originally from Quincy, IL, I grew up as the oldest of four sisters, and caring for them has always been a big part of my life.
