“Sophie was lovely and she also cleaned our kitchen while kids slept which was so amazing to come home to!”
Hi! My name is Nicole. I am a a college student looking for occasional/one time babysitting jobs. I started caring for children at age 12 so I have almost 7 years of experience under my belt. I have also worked at nursing homes since age 14 and have experience with the mentally impaired. I’ve cared for children anywhere from ages 1-13. I can do anything from diaper changes to playing catch in the yard but arts and crafts is my specialty. Currently, I work at a school with fourth and fifth graders where I am directly responsible for their safety. I also nanny a 7 and a 9 year old. Please consider me :)
With over 30 years of hands-on childcare experience and two grown children of my own (ages 26 and 22), I bring both professional and personal insight into caring for children of all ages. I am CPR and First Aid Certified (including infant and child CPR), ServSafe Manager Certified, and hold a ServSafe Allergen certicate. I am a dependable and nurturing caregiver who values structure, creativity, and patience. I have a clean, safe driving record and am fully capable of handling transportation needs, meal prep, light housekeeping, and homework help. I’d love to bring my warmth and experience to support your family’s needs in a part-time nanny role.
I’ve worked as a pre-k teacher for the past 4 1/2 years, frequently babysit and used to have 2 nannying jobs. I’m pretty decent with special needs kids and have worked with them before. I have been CORI checked, have no criminal background and am CPR, First aid and teacher certified. I’m playful and creative with children and encourage learning, boundaries, playing pretend, creativeness, and just fun all around! I am experienced, ambitious, organized, a good listener, / great rule/boundary follower, and kind, respectful, accommodating, outgoing and energetic. I’ve mainly only watched children but have also watched pets before. I have no experience watching seniors but am willing to learn and do it. I’ve also never house-sat but am again, willing to and am very responsible and great at cleaning and taking care of things and keeping it in check. I have a background with psychology and social work from college so I’m very good at reading children’s heads and understanding their personalities. I am also very protective of them because of my schooling in social work so I know how to watch and take care of them. I am currently going to college for nursing and am doing multiple interviews for more teaching positions at other schools because I recently got laid off because there was too many staff members.
I am a mother of two teenagers and I have been an elementary school counselor for over 20 years. I have experience with newborns and infants. I have post-partum doula training; I completed the training in 2020 but never got certified due to the pandemic. In my professional role, I have led social skills groups and provided individual counseling for children K-5th grade, including both neurotypical and neurodivergent students. My favorite part of the school day is greeting my students in the morning when they arrive at school! I was a Girl Scout leader for 6 years and I am a regular religious education teacher at my Unitarian Universalist church. I love board games, reading, crafts, and playing outside with kids. I know how to juggle and I can still sing all of the fun Girl Scout songs from my youth. I may be a little older than your kids' typical teenage babysitters, but I promise we'll have fun together! I am also available for pet care and for household errands. With my two teens heading to college soon, I am looking to make a little extra money by doing what I love - spending time with children and helping families! I look forward to hearing from you soon.

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
