Childcare history: Over the last 15-20 years, I have worked with kids through running a daycare center, working as a camp counselor, working in afterschool programs, nannying and babysitting for families, and now each day in my professional work! Hi there! My name is Jonny and I am an undergraduate student at Boston University studying psychology with interests in mental health research and child psychology. I live on campus in a beautiful brownstone apartment and I spend most of my time studying or with friends. I am offering child, senior, pet, and house care services. I have experience working with inner-city Boston kids (ages 8-12) at the Hale Outdoor Learning Adventures camp, where I learned how to connect with kids with all different kinds of temperaments and personalities. I’m the oldest of five siblings, so a lot of my experience started at home-helping out, staying organized, and being someone my siblings could rely on. I’ve also worked with kids of all ages through my church’s children’s and youth ministry, so I’m comfortable stepping in whether it’s playtime, helping with homework, or keeping a routine going. I also volunteer in my community and plan to attend medical school, so being dependable and attentive really matters to me. I’d describe myself as calm, patient, and easy to be around. I try to meet kids where they are, whether they’re energetic, shy, or just need someone to listen. I also worked as a Patient Care Assistant, which helped me become even more attentive, responsible, and aware when it comes to safety and making sure people feel comfortable and supported. I also love animals (especially dogs) so I’m more than happy to be around pets too. Hi! My name is Vivian and I am currently 18 years old as a senior in highschool at Beaver Country Day in Brookline. I have been working with children for many years now. Starting at the age of 11, I became a mothers helper for some of my neighbors. Along side my babysitting jobs, I have had lots of professional experience with children as well. When I turned `13, I became a Conselor in Training at Beaver Summer Camp and for every summer since, I have been a Camp Counselor for campers ages 3-6.
