Hello, I'm a current Middle School English teacher. I have babysitting experience since 2017 on the site and before. (Mild Allergy to Cats, usually solved with open windows or with having the cat in another room or even if the cat is generally shy).

She was great with my baby! She kept him engaged and on schedule and he really liked her

Hi! My name is Megan I have several years of babysitting experience with children of all ages. I graduated from Tulane in 2015 and have lived in the DC area ever since. I have a full time job at a nonprofit so can usually only babysit in the evenings and on weekends. I’m happy to help with any cooking and cleaning if needed! I also have a car so can drive to suburbs outside of D.C. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Megan was wonderful! She accepted the job last minute and jumped right in with my three kids. The next day they all agreed she was “so nice” and asked if she could come back again!

I am dedicated and dependable with 10years experience as a baby sitter. Am flexible and adaptable with extensive knowledge of childcare and development. Am devoted to helping children in what they have a passion for. I love to help out in school work, light meal preparation and generally take care of the kids. Am fun, responsible and loving and at the same time know how to set boundaries and maintain decorum in the home at all times. However and unfortunately, I am not animal friendly

She was wonderful. We came back to kids sleeping peacefully and a living room cleaned up from all toys and dinner. We would highly recommend her to anyone!

As a philosophy and English major at Howard University, I bring a unique blend of intellectual curiosity and communication skills to the table. My experience as a debate coach for middle schoolers at DC Prep showcases my ability to guide and mentor young minds. Additionally, my role in caring for my 4 younger siblings, aged 18 months to 17 years old, along with four years of dedicated care for my infant cousins, highlights my nurturing nature. This extensive background in childcare, coupled with my college studies, demonstrates a well-rounded skill set for the role of your child Or children baby sitter. My natural patience and emphasis on communication further underscore my suitability, making me an ideal candidate to ensure a safe and enriching environment for children under my care. Lotonia was amazing with our 3 little kids! Would definitely recommend!!!!

Hi! My name is Paula, and I have nearly 8 years of childcare experience, caring for children from newborns and infants to school-aged children and teenagers. I especially love working with babies and young children. I have experience with early stimulation and age-appropriate activities that support motor, cognitive, and language development. I enjoy teaching through play, including letters, numbers, colors, books, sensory activities, English and Spanish. I also have experience with potty training. I currently work full-time with a wonderful family Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. I have cared for their daughter since she was 5 months old, and she is now 2 years and 5 months old. I also occasionally care for another little girl whom I have known since she was 6 months old and is now 4. I will soon begin a bachelor’s degree related to Early Childhood Development, a field that connects directly with what I love doing. I’m looking for additional babysitting opportunities outside my regular work hours, especially evenings and weekends. I’m open to occasional or consistent care if it’s a good fit for both of us. I’m responsible, patient, caring, reliable, and also a big animal lover, especially dogs. Please feel free to message me!

Paula is amazing with my 18 month year old. She started working with us when she was 6 months and has been invaluable since. She has helped my daughter crawling and then walking. She is great handling my daughter and German Shepard. She is soo gentle and has soo much patience. keeps her active at all times and constantly challenging her to thrive. She takes her to the library all the time and likes to read. She give me peace of mind and I know when I have to go to work she will be in safe hands.
