I am a nurse practitioner (current practice owner) who never had children of my own and have always wanted them. I have medical experience beginning at Children’s Hospital in DC on their behavioural psychiatry unit, my nursing internship was a Cambridge hospital on the pediatric behaviour program. After becoming an NP in 2005, I spent several summers as a camp nurse at the Barrie School in Silver Spring, MD. I have also worked with their 4 year olds for aftercare and substituted in the baby room when needed. My other experience includes being the lead NP at JHH on their Meyer 6 unit for 4 years and some time in the Anesthesia department. Working with children has been my most fulfilling work. My extensive care of children in various situations should make any parent feel confident in choosing me as a caregiver.

Hi everyone! Mya name is Mia and I am 22 years old. I am in nursing school and I am a certified nursing assistant. I am offering child care and dog sitting/ walking. I have always babysat growing up. The ages always varied from 6 months old to 12 years of age. I love children and babies and I am CPR certified as well. I have been a caregiver for all of my adult life. I am a physical therapist in a hospital for over 20 years. I work in the NICU, with infants and toddlers as outpatients, and with the inpatient geriatric population. Additionally, I am of mom of two. I have an 18 year old daughter and a 12 year old son.
