I am a big people person and love to make people laugh. I have been a nanny for several years for kids of almost all ages. Growing up with two younger sisters and three younger boy cousins, I’ve gained a lot of experience and responsibilities taking care of them. I have always been a natural born care giver. Growing up with a brother nine years younger than myself in a single parent household, I took on a lot of responsibilities at a young age. I also babysat for a number of families in our neighborhood. Caring for my brother, making meals and helping out around the house. In my adult life I have worked as a full time nanny for a family with two young boys, an area that I was of course quite familiar to me. I have also been a step mother. I love kids, and although I don't have any of my own (yet!) I have enjoyed being a part of my niece's and nephew's lives and those of my friend's children. I am a very creative person. I love to learn and explore. I went to the University of Minnesota studying fine art. I later became a pastry chef. I have a passion for food and cooking. I love to teach and have fun. I think that learning should be fun! I am easy going. I love to get outside and explore nature. I am always there to lend a listening ear, a hand to hold or a shoulder to cry on.
