Hi! My name is saydee and I am super excited to meet new families and become a part of your family. I have my associates degree in early childhood development from JCCC. During my schooling I worked at a daycare in the infant room working with infants ages to 6 weeks to a year. I also experienced working in the toddler room which was ages 2-4. After graduating I became a nanny to 4 children, ages 3, 7, 8, and 11. I have worked there for 2 years. My tasks were daily chores such as dishes, laundry, and tidying up. I would make snacks, breakfast and lunch on a daily. My goal while I was a nanny was to bring everyone together to have fun and productive days. I would also encourage reading, practicing grammar, math, and learning letters and new numbers (for the youngest)! I love being creative and bringing new ideas into children's lives. Creating crafts is an excellent way to express creativity, and i've found that it feels rewarding to children. I also love reading and encourage it very heavily, learning how to read, reading to young ones and going to the library! While I was getting my associates degree I did get CPR certified for infants and young children!
Hi, My name is Ca’Mari, and I am a college student at Metropolitan community college with a strong passion for working with children and helping them feel safe, supported, and cared for. My long term goal is to become a pediatric oncology nurse. I currently work at the YMCA in a before and after school care position, where I get to work with children, keep them engaged, and create a safe and positive environment for them. I also had the opportunity to complete a one-day internship at University Health in an OBGYN setting, where I was able to see healthcare professionals work directly with patients and learn more about compassionate patient care. I would describe myself as patient, caring, responsible, and easy to communicate with. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys being around children, learning their personalities, keeping them entertained, and making sure they feel comfortable. I’m also dependable and take the responsibility of caring for someone else’s child very seriously. My goal is for every family I work with to feel confident that their child is in good hands.
Hi, I'm Lily and would love the opportunity to help you out. I am a part time college student so I have a lot of free time. I find so much joy in helping people and making new connections. I have experience with kids, pets, and household chores. I like to keep busy so anything you need I'd be happy to do. My experience I am the third of 10 cousins and an older sister. I have helped teach summer schools and Bible schools assisting with children pre-k to 6th grade. I can play games, assist with homework and anything else. I can help with pets too. My household has had 3 dogs, 4 cats, a bunny and snake, as well as fish. I can dog walk, scoop litter, feed, play, etc. I can also clean and organize your home. Last summer I helped elderly folks clean and declutter and enjoyed that so much. I can sweep, vaccume, wash dishes, and do laundry. If you have errands you need to run but don't have the energy, I do! I am a detail oriented person who enjoys keeping things orderly and doing things right. I would love to help in any way I can!
Hello, I go by Koi and I'm looking for a part time nanny/sitter position for 25-30 hours a week between the Olathe and Lawrence, KS areas. I have two years of floater experience in childcare with toddlers and babies and absolutely adore my kiddos! I get 16 hours of annual health & safety and developmental training, and will continue to do so to ensure I can provide the best environment for your child. I'm quiet, attentive, calm-natured, but value firm boundaries and redirection, and like to create a child-led environment fostering independence. I take "lead by example" to heart and value modeling above all else. As a natural-born learner and academic, I am always looking to educate myself on, understand, and find new ideas on supporting your child's development—cognitive, social, emotional, physical, language...they all matter! I also love outdoor play and using nature to explore creative opportunities, but some of my other favorites are reading and sensory play! I love to take inspiration from the book Sustainable Play. I'm not a parent, but I understand how important your child(ren) is/are to you. Above all, they are my top priority, and I hope my passion for children will be seen in my care for them! *I can offer references from co-workers and professors as requested.
