Growing up in a big family, I was always surrounded by children, which sparked my passion for caregiving early on. As a teen, I began teaching swim lessons to children ages 6 and under and worked as a lifeguard for about three years. During the winter months, I served as a party hostess at a bowling alley, where I was frequently requested by both kids and parents for birthday celebrations! One of my favorite roles was working as a Disney princess at parties and events—a perfect blend of my love for children and performing. I’m a professionally trained singer, and I enjoy playing the piano, guitar, and songwriting. Most recently, I served in the U.S. Air Force as an intelligence analyst for a special operations aircraft. During my time in service, I was honored to be one of the most frequently selected National Anthem performers at the Wing level, and I continue to sing at professional sporting events. I’ve often been described as fun, caring, and extroverted, with a warm and calming presence that helps children—whether shy or spirited—feel safe and at ease around me.

My name is Emanuela and I have collective experience of 40 years in childcare (my own pets, kiddos and family members included :)) pet care,elder care, household cleaning, the fitness field, and working with people who have developmental disabilities. I am currently in the NJCCIS registry, on another platform for Pet Services and currently working on getting certified as a trainer so I can work with people who have developmental disabilities; hoping to motivate and inspire them to be their best selves. I am also a Stephen Minister, walking alongside people as they journey through life's struggles. I love to create in the kitchen, exercising, learning, reading, and inspire others to tap into their strengths and shine! I hope, along with you to see if we are a good fit for each other. I have worked with infants ages 6-weeks to 8 months during the summers and winters that I had off from school. I have also been an intern and student teacher at an elementary school. I have multiple pets of my own including both dogs and cats. I have been taking care of cleaning my house and cooking food for many years and am a huge fan of clean, healthy, and nutritious eating. I am an extremely creative person with a passion for arts while I also love going on walks and trips to the beach. As I have experience with infants I have a knack for exposing children to different environments, tactile exposure, foods, and textures. Due to my background in education I also am able to incorporate learning into almost anything. I have been also always been able to create strong rapport and bonds with children from infancy to elementary grades.

I am a part-time college student at the University of Maryland in College Park. I have years of experience working with children as well as engaging with them outside of a professional setting. I have 2 young nieces (10 and 8) whom I often babysit, drive to and from activities, and keep busy at home while my brother is working. My prior babysitting experience also includes neighbors, children of friends and family, and other relatives. I grew up a dancer so as soon as I became old enough, I was student teaching classes for pre-schoolers and eventually taught some classes on my own. I have worked individually and in groups with ages 3-16. I can confidently say I know how to best meet the needs of all ages while maintaining a fun and playful environment.

Hello, I'm Eman. I have extensive hands-on caregiving experience, having helped raise several children in my family from infancy through adolescence. The youngest is 7, and the oldest will be graduating college in the next few years (I still can't believe it!). Being closely involved in their lives has given me a strong, intuitive understanding of children at every stage. I also have some professional childcare experience from my time at KinderCare, but I thrive most in one-on-one or small-family settings where I can give children my full attention. I’m patient, nurturing, attentive, and genuinely love working with kids—especially toddlers. I’m comfortable with diapers, bottle feeding, and nap routines (may need a short adjustment period if caring for infants). Homework help, reading, and bedtime routines are truly my jam. I enjoy preparing meals or snacks for children and don’t mind tidying toys or children’s spaces, but I focus strictly on childcare and not general household help. I’m fluent in multiple languages and am happy to help with language exposure if parents are interested. I respect family routines, boundaries, and parenting styles, and value clear, open communication. I’m comfortable caring for children of all ages and available for date nights or occasional care during off-hours. I also have experience providing companionship for seniors through listening and quality time. I’m comfortable working in homes with calm, small pets after meeting them, but not large or high-energy animals. Caring for children is more than a job to me—it’s a calling, and I approach every family with responsibility, heart, and genuine care. A little bit about me personally, I studied fashion design and am a dress maker by trade. I love arts and crafts since I was a toddler and am happy to share some of my crafting activities with kids or even parents. I'm trying to be more fit and active and am into indoor rock climbing and orange theory. If anyone has recommendations for good OT coaches, I'm all ears :). Hosting is second nature to me and my family, so recently I started a luxury picnic and party decorating business, which thankfully has been going well. Right now it's the off season so I'm looking to fill the gap with some nannying roles.
