My name is Adalyce, but feel free to call me Addy 👋 I am a recent college graduate now farming intern at Ethos Farm to Health looking for occasional support with children for weekend evenings! I have experience working with youth k-8th at the Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club, a non-profit local to my community in Chicago for 7 years. I assist with tutoring, playing and creating indoor and outdoor games, coaching and referring various athletics, making healthy and delicious snacks and meal prep, and enjoy being around children. ❤️ I have experience working with children 8 months - 5 years old as a daycare assistant for the Jewish Council for Youth Services (JCYS). I assist with helping children build socialization, early development, and communication skills. Additionally, manners, feeding, cleaning, and napping routines. My name is Emanuela and I have collective experience of 40 years in childcare (my own pets, kiddos and family members included :)) pet care,elder care, household cleaning, the fitness field, and working with people who have developmental disabilities. I am currently in the NJCCIS registry, on another platform for Pet Services and currently working on getting certified as a trainer so I can work with people who have developmental disabilities; hoping to motivate and inspire them to be their best selves. I am also a Stephen Minister, walking alongside people as they journey through life's struggles. I love to create in the kitchen, exercising, learning, reading, and inspire others to tap into their strengths and shine! I hope, along with you to see if we are a good fit for each other. I am a part-time college student at the University of Maryland in College Park. I have years of experience working with children as well as engaging with them outside of a professional setting. I have 2 young nieces (10 and 8) whom I often babysit, drive to and from activities, and keep busy at home while my brother is working. My prior babysitting experience also includes neighbors, children of friends and family, and other relatives. I grew up a dancer so as soon as I became old enough, I was student teaching classes for pre-schoolers and eventually taught some classes on my own. I have worked individually and in groups with ages 3-16. I can confidently say I know how to best meet the needs of all ages while maintaining a fun and playful environment.

Growing up in a big family, I was always surrounded by children, which sparked my passion for caregiving early on. As a teen, I began teaching swim lessons to children ages 6 and under and worked as a lifeguard for about three years. During the winter months, I served as a party hostess at a bowling alley, where I was frequently requested by both kids and parents for birthday celebrations! One of my favorite roles was working as a Disney princess at parties and events—a perfect blend of my love for children and performing. I’m a professionally trained singer, and I enjoy playing the piano, guitar, and songwriting. Most recently, I served in the U.S. Air Force as an intelligence analyst for a special operations aircraft. During my time in service, I was honored to be one of the most frequently selected National Anthem performers at the Wing level, and I continue to sing at professional sporting events. I’ve often been described as fun, caring, and extroverted, with a warm and calming presence that helps children—whether shy or spirited—feel safe and at ease around me.
