There I pursued an interdisciplinary major in Genetics & Social Justice with a focus on reproductive health. As part of my major, I got the opportunity to study maternal and child health in the U.S., Vietnam, South Africa, and Argentina. Living and learning in such different environments exposed me to children of all ages and backgrounds and taught me that in the absence of a shared spoken language, games are a universal language that can create a genuine connection with children all over the world.
