Hi guys, I have my BSN in nursing currently studying for my license. I have babysat for over 7 years personally but worked with kids for 9 years since I worked in summer camps. EXPERIENCES: I have worked in clinical settings with children such as pediatrics and NICU. But I also have experience with children with autism and ADHD for over 4 years. I have also worked with children that have diabetes. I understand that patience, caring and love is key. I want each child to feel safe and have the space to grow. I am CPR certified and have availability throughout the day. I am also willing to do last minute bookings! During the last couple of months we have all needed a break, feel free to message me for a date night or when you need some extra help while working. I love playing board games and building buildings with connective blocks! I currently have experience with a 3 year-old. I am accustom to picking up the child from school and taking her to activities. I love encouraging children to be who they want to be. For instance, if a child wants to be creative or sporty we will either spend the day painting or go an adventure through the park. I have also had experience working with a 5 year old who was very active. I can range with different ages of children because I have experience of working with children in an urban environment. The children were able to explore nature and it’s beauty. I try my best to enforce the safest environment possible with both the child and the parent. I have worked with parents usually for the long term but am looking for occasional gigs. A fun fact about me is that I have played and taught basketball, tennis and was a volunteer soccer assistant with the ages groups of 7-13. I also love to play board games and carry an Uno deck of cards for when I babysit with older kids. Will gladly do phone interviews and in person interviews. I also drive so don’t mind staying out late if you needed extra time! Feel free to message me for same day jobs! Thank you for your time
Hi! I'm Isabelle, am 29 years old and live in NYC. I have an AA in Art and a BA in Politics. I work as a case manager/community organizer at a food pantry on the UES. I used to babysit during college and always enjoyed it which is why I still occasionally enjoy picking up some gigs here or there :) I grew up in Germany with an American mother, a German father, and am the oldest of 4 siblings. I'm fluent in both German and English and have worked with bilingual kids in both a nanny and teaching environment. After graduating from HS in Germany and professionally working in the performing arts growing up, I was interested in working socially with families and kids who were less fortunate/had special needs. In the summer of 2015, I started an art+living project in Germany with kids and families who had fled their countries. In 2016, I became part of a therapeutic horse farm that focused on working with kids with special needs. I was the outdoor teacher and leader of an inclusive forest group consisting of 5-7 children aged 4-10 years old. Upon moving to the USA in 2017, I worked as a teacher at the Seattle Waldorf School and absolutely ❤️ it. In the summer of 2022, I worked with kids in Ukraine+Poland, primarily teaching or working with mothers and babies. I've been working with runaway homeless youth at places such as The Door and The Ali Forney Center for the past several years. Working with kids has always brought me joy and kept me grounded during hectic times. I nannied during undergrad and, while I have experience with children of all age ranges, I have primarily worked with infants and babies during their first year of life. I have experience with night-nannying, sleep training, feeding, and multiples. For those of you with older kids, bedtime routine is no problem either as I have had many longer term after-school gigs as well. I am confident in navigating the city responsibly, including school pick-up, and use of public transit. As a nanny, I'd describe myself as relaxed, punctual, reliable, flexible, confident, reasonable, communicative, consistent and dedicated. I very much enjoy working with families of different backgrounds, and I am absolutely LGBTQ+ family-friendly, being part of one myself. I can provide references and am happy to answer any further questions. I'm vaccinated and CPR trained. ⭐️ When I'm not nannying, I am playing soccer, going for a run, cheering on the WNBA+ NWSL, going out with friends or staying in with my books.
“Isabelle was great. On time, asked thoughtful questions and kept us updated on how our girl was doing. ”
Experienced caregiver now based in NYC, originally from San Francisco where I cared for several families and received strong reviews. I have hands-on experience caring for children from 5 months to 11 years old, including infants under 1 year. Through Sunday School teaching and babysitting, I’ve created safe, nurturing environments for children of all ages. I hold a Master’s in Public Health and currently work full-time, but I have a flexible schedule for evening and weekend babysitting. Responsible, warm, and confident caring for little ones.
“Marion did great with our one year old crawling baby, playing with him and reading him books. Very attentive and kind.”
Hello to all the parents in the urbansitter world. I live in Bronx NY, I'm a mom, an aunt and a great aunt, I have a big family that is still growing by God’s grace. I'm a reliable and on time committed mature professional babysitter. I have more than 25 years of experience babysitting. I cook, clean and i have my own car to run errands. I enjoy babysitting and helping others families with childcare. I enjoy arts & crafts, going outside playing in the park and going on field trips with your kids. I'm available for part-time, occasionally babysitting, and date nights too. My availability is not set in stone so I'm able to stay later and switch dates as well. "UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
