I have been working with kids since I was 14. I have experience as an behavioral therapist with kids on the autism spectrum, as a professional nanny, and also as an intermittent babysitter. I've worked with kids age 0-15! I love kids and will bring a positive attitude and energetic spirit. I am a current Master's student at NYU silver school of social work looking for some part time babysitting opportunities.
Hi! I’m Charlet! I’m originally from Portland and now a student at Fordham University here in NYC. I’ve spent the last five years caring for children from infants to age 16 through babysitting as well as some full-time nannying. Caring for kids comes naturally to me, I love to help create a warm, clean, calm, and fun environment where young people feel safe, encouraged, and excited to explore. I’m confident with daily routines, including cleaning, meals, naps, school pickups/dropoffs, bedtime, and playtime. I value clear, consistent communication with parents and always strive to support whatever rhythm works best for your family. I’m CPR certified, reliable, and truly enjoy forming long-lasting, trusting relationships with the families I work with. I’d be happy to provide references, and I’d love to connect with you and your family.
Hello my name is Sarah I am an experienced daycare assistant with hands-on childcare experience seeking a full-time nanny or babysitting position. I am currently working in a daycare setting, where I support children’s daily routines, learning, and development, and I also provide occasional weekend babysitting for one of the children in my care. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. I am looking to bring my experience and dedication into a full-time nanny or babysitting role with a family.
Hi there! I'm a senior in the Childhood Education program at Hunter College. I'm compassionate, patient, curious, and playful. I have extensive experience caring for children ages 2 to 11. Additionally, I have cared for newborns, infants, and children with special needs. I'm passionate about providing a safe and nurturing environment that fosters positive development for children. I also love learning about children's interests and engaging in play with them. Looking forward to connecting with you and your family!
“Julia did an incredible job. She is attentive and communicative. She demonstrated her experience caring for one of my cats who is sick. I recommend her for anyone looking for a sitter, especially longterm. ”
Hello! I’m Isabella and I am new to the city! I was born and raised in Venice Beach, CA. I moved to New York to be closer to my family who live on the east coast and to live with my best friend who will be attending graduate school at Columbia! I studied Psychology at UC Santa Cruz where I focused on childhood and adolescent development. Throughout college I was a nanny and worked at a local preschool where I was able to conduct my senior research project on emotional regulation in preschool aged children. I formed strong and lasting relationships with the families I worked with and stay in contact to this day. Many families I worked with prioritized Montessori schooling methods, so I am familiar with that style of learning. My first year out of college, I worked as a Teacher’s Aide at a school for special needs children. I worked with children ages 7-14 who had varying IEP’s for things like autism, dyslexia, and ADHD, among others. I was trained in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) methods to de-escalate high-stress situations. I am a highly patient, playful, and responsible person, and I take pride in working with families and children. In the next couple of years, I would like to go back to school for a Master's in Marriage & Family Therapy, as I am interested in relationship dynamics and communication strategies. In my free time, I love to be active and outside! I’ve played volleyball my whole life, so I am eager to find a rec league in the city so I can play. I also love to travel and am lucky that my family prioritized this growing up, so I’ve been lucky to travel with them! My experience as a nanny has varied depending on each family’s needs, but I am familiar with school pickup/drop-off, snack and meal planning, homework help, bed/bath time, and planning daily activities. I have experience and am comfortable with overnights after getting to know the family and their children, as well as traveling as needed. I look forward to connecting and seeing if we would be a good fit:)

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
