Currently, I work as a full-time Lower School teacher in NYC, so I’m free during weekday evenings and weekends. **Note: I live in both NJ and NYC, so I can babysit in either place.** A brief history: From 2012 to 2017 (before I left NYC temporarily for grad school), I babysat for 10-40 hours each week. I love chatting with kids, answering their (hilarious/profound/thought-provoking) questions, and playing their favorite off-screen game. I am skilled in social-emotional learning (SEL) and working with children with ASD (autism spectrum disorder), Levels I, I, and III; OCD; and ADHD. I am also skilled in helping kids cope with anxiety, anxious thinking, or anxiety-related behavior patterns. My hobbies include reading, spending time with my friends, and kayaking. I also have an M.F.A. in fiction writing, and I love talking to both kids and adults about books and writing! I was born in Manhattan, and I grew up in North and South Florida.
