I come from a big, close-knit family and have been taking care of my younger cousins and family members for as long as I can remember. Hi! I'm Sonia! I am recent college graduate with a BFA in Musical Theatre, and I have a lot of experience working with kids. I started in middle school as a Counselor in Training (CIT) at Girl Scout Camp to learn how to best work with kids and help them thrive. In 2018 I started work as a camp counselor at San Diego Junior Theatre, monitoring/Overseeing up to 20 children at a time (ages 5 - 10), preventing incidents and/or managing and reporting incidents as needed, keeping campers safe and engaged throughout the day, and working well with other counselors to ensure a safe, positive experience for campers and staff. Along with working as a camp counselor, I also have done a lot of babysitting for kids ages 5 and up since highschool.
