My name is Luke and I'm a graduate of New York University ('16) with a BFA in Drama. Some of my favorite things to do are go to Broadway shows (obviously), playing tennis, writing, and going for a run along the Hudson River while jamming to Taylor Swift. I enjoy all things Harry Potter and will talk with anyone about it for hours. I've been babysitting in various capacities since I was 14. Most recently, I've worked at several day camps in Manhattan - Asphalt Green Summer Day Camp, where I was the On-Site Program Manager for two years, and Steve and Kate's Camp at Kips Bay, where I was the Site Director. I am currently the PS 527 Program Director for the Imogen Foundation, an after-school program focusing on SEL and emotional literacy. I am very skilled in managing large groups of kids. As a camp counselor, you quickly learn to think on your feet because there's nothing more stressful than dealing with 200 incredibly bored kids stuck inside on a rainy day. Through my teaching experience, I've learned quite a bit of classroom management and how to command the attention of a room.
