I'm comfortable around all creatures- including farm animals and reptiles:) I have plenty experience caring for newborns to teens, and always encourage exploring their creativity, learning abilities, and talents in whatever it may be. I was a jazz/tap dancer at a younger age so I love dance. Plus hiking and cycling, DIY, gardening, music, cooking, theatre, painting, and organizing spaces. In my free time I volunteer at different organizations for youth and animals, and go to as many museums and road trips as I can. Hiya! I have 15 years of experience working with kids of which I was a nanny for 10 years, and I’ve worked with children from 2 days old to 17 years old. I've also worked in several schools in different roles, working with students both with and without special needs ages 6-19. I spent the 2[removed] school year in San Antonio working as a mentor and tutor in a highschool with City Year, a well known AmeriCorps program. I worked with students on behavior, set goals for improving attendance, and wrote lesson plans as well as tutored them in English 1 and 2(9th and 10th grade) to improve their grades. I adapt to any given child's needs, as not all children are the same. I do however enforce rules and guidelines that I feel are needed to have a great time without harming anyone in anyway. I am open to different parenting styles and techniques and will adhere to them with your child. I have experience providing care during weddings, corporate events, family parties, theme parks, and full weekend/overnight care. Ask me about my overnight(24hrs of care) rate! Cancelations with less than 72 hours notice have a fee of 50% of booked time. Cancelations with less than 24 hours notice must be paid in full.
