Jamora Brooklyn
$18 per hour for 1 child

My name is Jamora, and I have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, caregiving has always been one of my greatest passions. I’ve worked in daycares and childcare settings since I was 16 years old, and throughout the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children of all ages and abilities, including those with special needs. I’m CPR/AED certified, trained in anaphylaxis response, and have completed specialized training in infant care, special education, and hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. What makes me a great caregiver is not just my experience, but my genuine love for helping others feel safe, supported, and valued. I’m known for my patience, nurturing personality, and ability to stay calm under pressure. I bring a mix of structure, creativity, and warmth to every environment I step into, whether I’m caring for kids, seniors, pets, or assisting with household tasks. I believe every person deserves care that is thoughtful and tailored to their needs, and I take pride in being that dependable, compassionate presence in their lives.

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in New York, NY

I have been working with children in a professional capacity since 2012. I started by nannying 3 little girls (ages 2, 5, and 7 at the time of starting) full time during summer breaks in my hometown of Indianapolis, IN. After permanently moving to New York for school, I began part time nannying for a family with two children (ages 6 and 8) in Fort Greene; I was often recommended by them to other families at their school, so I also babysat for many other families in the area. I continued for about 5 years until I got my first full time job out of college as a STEM educator and curriculum developer for NORY, an afterschool program. I worked in afterschool and camp settings with children ages 4-13 as well as developing age appropriate STEM and robotics activities. Once the pandemic hit, I became certified to teach English as a Foreign Language and remotely taught children ages 4-12 in Beijing, China for about 3 years; many of my clients stayed with me for the entire 3 years I was teaching online. I also had another part time position at Penguin Coding School, teaching coding, STEM, and robotics activities to children ages 5-14 until I became the full time Head Teacher. I have been at my current position for the last 4 years, and I will be returning to school part time starting in the Fall, so I'm eagerly looking for a new nannying position! I've worked with many different children of all ages, and I hope to bring some fun and caring energy (and perhaps a few STEM activities!) to a family in need of a nanny.
