I'm a master's graduate with more than 15 years of childcare experience (including my extensive time caring for my teenage brother and sister since they were infants!). Originally from Phoenix, I've also lived and babysat in Los Angeles, and would love to share my experience with your family here in New York! Hi. My name is Lathisha and I'm from Brooklyn, New York. I have worked with kids since I was 16 and have since worked as an after school teacher, teachers assistant as well as a head teacher. I’ve idone baby sitting as well. In June of 2025 i obtained my associate degree in Early childhood education. I love working with kids because of how rewarding it is- they teach me as much as I teach them! I also a mother to two beautiful baby girls and I understand how exciting it is to watch children learn and grow from both the parent and sitter perspectives! For any reason a booking gets cancelled or you come home early I still charge for the entire time. I also require cab fare back home once a booking ends after 11:00pm.

I graduated from Columbia University with a master’s in clinical psychology. I currently work full time as a researcher studying teen mental health, but have a flexible schedule. At the moment, I am only looking for occasional babysitting jobs. I have over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages in various settings. I have had numerous part time nanny jobs with infants and children from as young as new borns up to 15 years old. Additionally, I was a camp counselor for 5-8 year olds growing up and also a math and reading tutor at Kumon for over two years so I have experience in helping with school work and tutoring. Additionally, I graduated from UC Davis for undergrad in 2020, studying psychology and human development, so I have lots of knowledge about the development of children and their behavior and needs. I am reliable, extremely empathetic, kind, and funny and can easily connect well with kids to create a fun and safe relationship. Lastly, I am a big animal lover and open to pet sitting jobs as well!
