When not doing so, I support kiddos and their families. I am a licensed driver but am also happy to walk anywhere or use a subway. I’m CPR & first aid certified. I’m a recent Yale graduate with a masters degree in stage management. After working in a preschool during the pandemic, I worked in a Chicago area preschool classroom for almost two years in both the 2-12 month and 4 & 5 year old classrooms. In the spring of 2020; I graduated with a BA in early childhood, elementary education, and theatre. I am passionate and emphatic about viewing and valuing the child as a capable individual with a sense of agency. Throughout the years, I've had the opportunity to work with kids of many different backgrounds, encouraging them to engage through a sense of play, confidence and individualism. My experiences as a teacher, nanny, facilitator and graduate professor and taught me about teamwork, collaboration, problem solving and I am not adverse to cleaning up Legos or Shopkins that litter your living room.
