Hi there! My name is Gigi. I'm originally from Seattle and currently live in Bushwick/Ridgewood. I attended the University of San Francisco, where I graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Media Studies. I have been in NYC since 2018 and worked as a long term nanny and family assistant until 2023, when I stepped away to focus on my artistic pursuits! I was a dancer for a long while and have more recently been pursuing performance art and physical theatre by way of theatre clowning! I am taking a show I have written and directed with a dear friend to Edinburgh Fringe Festival later this summer :). I have missed working with young ones and so I am back! Play, discovery, and having a healthy relationship with The Flop (failure) is important to my work as a performance artist as well as when I work with kids. I'm learning no other work is as enriching or fulfilling...so here I am! I am passionate about nurturing and supporting a child's creativity, curiosity, and individuality, as well as building healthy self-esteem! While I don't have any official certifications or training in childcare, I've learned a lot and have had great success through teaching dance and tutoring. In my own personal life, a lot of work is centered on using the arts as a healing modality, as well as working through generational trauma and dysfunctional family patterns and behaviors. I find that this work has taught me to become a more empathetic, nurturing, and patient person and has greatly impacted how I relate to children in particular. I am incredibly careful and intentional with my time spent around kids and hope to provide only the warmest, most supportive, and gently engaging environment. I'm an experienced child caretaker who has mainly worked with younger school aged kids as well as high schoolers. I've worked in after school programs as well as at an overnight summer camp as a counselor. My strengths are in patience, conflict management and adaptability. I also have experience caring for cats and dogs of various ages and sizes.

Hi there, my name is Caitlin! I'm 24 and have been living in the city for the past two years, but am originally from Wisconsin. I went to university for Entertainment and Marketing, and now I work in Film and Television PR during the day, however I am looking to pick up more babysitting gigs as I just love being around kids! Growing up with three younger siblings and 14 younger cousins, I've always been surrounded by kids, so now that I live away from family, I'm missing that burst of joy.
