Booked by 2 families in Dayton, OR

New to Portland, OR, I moved here with my husband and two cats from Nashville, TN so I could study naturopathic medicine at NUNM. Before starting medical school, I worked as a professional nanny and part-time babysitter for 4 years after graduating from Vanderbilt University with my bachelors. I’ve cared for children of all ages from infant to pre-teen and we always find a way to have fun and learn new to things! My responsibilities have included meal prep, drop off and pick up from school or camp, morning and nighttime routines, and general tidying of the house. I would describe myself as punctual, professional, and flexible under pressure. I have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. I have also house sat and dog watched for a family I had nannied for, where my duties included checking food and water, administering medicine, and taking her for walks. With my variable school schedule, I’m looking for one-time or part-time childcare or pet-care positions. I hope you find me to be a good fit!

Hello my name is Meg. I have 15+ years of baby sitting, 5 years of teaching, and 10 years of pet experience. I have worked with children from the age of infancy to 14. I have a degree in ECE and some SPEDU credits, but have decided to go back to college to change my major and become a child psychologist. I loved working with my students in a classroom setting, but feel that my skills are more necessary to help children develop individually. At this moment my availability is very flexible so take advantage of it while you can!

Meg was great with our 5 month old. She has a fun personality and was very professional.

Hi, I'm Lisa, but all my families call me Nina (my grandma nickname). I'm a mom to four grown children and grandmother to seven! I have been a professional nanny for over 20 years and I absolutely love it. Families face so many challenges today and I love coming along side parents and making their life easier and their homes run smoother. Knowing what families need before they even ask is my superpower! From newborn care to taking tweens to and from activities, I've done it all! I honestly love cooking, cleaning, and laundry and am happy to help in whatever ways makes sense for your family. I also know how important trust and communication are when inviting someone into your home and I pride myself on being honest, dependable, and flexible as your needs grow and change. I currently have a wonderful family that I care for after school M-TH, but am available for weekends, evenings, and daytime hour or backup care on school closures or sick days. I look forward to finding the right family to support!

Lisa was a life saver! We were fortunate to have Lisa watch our son for a little over a year, until we moved away for work. As a first-time mom she made me feel at ease. She helped with sleep training and getting a good routine that worked for our family. She became part of our family right away. She goes above and beyond. She took our son to the park, library and to playdates. She has great communication and very reliable. We miss her every day!!

Hi I’m Andrea! I am a responsible and caring babysitter with hands-on experience working with children through a school child development program. I have two years of experience supporting children’s growth, safety, and daily routines, including working with children with special needs. I have also volunteered as a camp leader, supervising a group of five children, organizing engaging activities, and managing daily schedules from morning wake-ups to bedtime. In addition, I am a certified medical assistant with current BLS certification, as well as adult and pediatric CPR and First Aid training. I have volunteered in elementary school settings and am confident in creating a safe, structured, and positive environment for children of all ages. Additionally, I don’t mind helping out with housework and/or pets! :)

Andrea was super friendly, conscientious, and kind. Also made my party with kids and adults so much easier!

My childcare journey began at 12, babysitting in my church nursery, but it was my younger brother’s birth when I was 13 that truly ignited my passion for caring for little ones. Helping raise him next to a hard working single mother showed me how much I love nurturing and guiding children through their early years. Since then, I’ve gained over ten years of experience as a nanny, overnight caregiver, home manager, and preschool teacher. I’ve also worked as a professionally trained doula, further deepening my understanding of child development and family support. I’m also an active person and grew up participating in team sports, including soccer and swim team, which taught me the value of energy, focus, and teamwork—qualities I bring to my caregiving. I love creating fun, engaging moments to help kids learn, grow, and explore their world. With confidence, patience, and a second nature for childcare, I’m here to provide your little ones with exceptional care and attention.
