Hello! I have been working with children for over 15 years! My first job in high school was as a nanny and tutor, and I then went on to be an instructor and program director on Catalina Island. Here instructed kids from 3rd grade - 12th grade in Biology and History in accordance with the California State Curriculum. Afterwards I got my degree in Teaching and History from Azusa Pacific University where I logged over 200 hours of in-class experience. After college I worked as a nanny and tutor in California, Madrid, London, and Australia for children aged 0 - 21 (with special needs). I have experience working with families of all different backgrounds and languages, as well as tutoring kids with learning disabilities and special needs (specifically Autism and Dyslexia). I am very active and like to take kids on walks, to the zoo, to the park, and play lots of games. I’m the oldest in my family so since i was a kid i always have helped with my families children ranging from all ages. I currently work in a retirement home where i’m trained in CPR, ambulance calls and assistance, and many other things like dealing with hard times (Alzheimer’s, dementia, rudeness, etc.).
