Hello my name is Ruth, born and raised in Florida but Now live in Tennessee. I've always had a big heart for children began babysitting at the age of 15. Hi families! My name is Natalie :) I am a full time esthetician in a medspa Monday-Friday! I am looking for weekend/evening babysitting hours! Perfect for date nights. Looking for weekly hours. I have 3 years of nannying experience, and am CPR certified. I absolutely love kids and am looking forward to meeting you!
Hi! My name is Aleeya, I am 23 years old, and I have a strong passion for working with children and supporting families by creating a safe, structured, and positive environment. I was raised in an in-home daycare run by my mom, where I was surrounded by children of all ages from a young age. Watching her care for and support so many families shaped my understanding of child development, patience, and responsibility, and it’s a big reason I love what I do. I hold a Bachelor’s degree focused in Family Sciences and Psychology and am certified in Trauma-Informed Care. This background allows me to better understand children’s emotional and behavioral needs and create an environment where they feel safe, supported, and confident. I have hands-on experience as a full-time nanny for a family with three children (ages 6 months to 5 years), where I managed daily routines, meals, naps, transportation, and engaging, age-appropriate activities. I’ve also worked in daycare settings and currently coach a 14U volleyball team, which has strengthened my ability to mentor, lead, and connect with kids in a structured and encouraging way. I was also a collegiate volleyball player at the Division I level, which has shaped my strong work ethic, leadership skills, and ability to stay organized and dependable. I love incorporating fun, active play into my time with kids and encouraging confidence, teamwork, and healthy habits. Outside of childcare, I love being outdoors and staying active—whether that’s going on walks, playing outside, or spending time in the sun. I enjoy creating fun, engaging experiences for kids that keep them moving and having fun. In addition to childcare, I’m happy to support families with cooking, light cleaning, organizing, and running errands. I enjoy helping keep the household running smoothly and making life a little easier for busy parents. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and proactive. I communicate openly with parents and aim to be someone families can fully trust with their children. I would love the opportunity to support your family!
Hello! I am a nature-based early childhood educator. I recently moved to Nashville from California, where I worked as a lead teacher at Northeast Los Angeles Forest School for three years. I am originally from Wisconsin and have a deep love for the outdoors and the growing movement in education towards incorporating more opportunities for free play in nature. My work is informed and inspired by Reggio-Emilia and Montessori pedagogy, David Sobel, and Piaget. I am passionate about supporting children as they explore the wide world, and I enjoy finding engaging ways to facilitate happy, healthy development. I am a strong believer in the benefits of emergent curriculum and learning through play, and I have experience developing curriculum to support this. I have a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and I am currently working on an MS in psychology from Southern New Hampshire University with a speciality in child and adolescent development. During my senior year of college, I had an internship working at a respite center for children ages 6 and under with special needs, and had the opportunity to develop and implement individualized therapy programs for kids. Prior to this, I spent four years caring for children as young as six weeks and as old as twelve at a child care center in my home town in Wisconsin. It was there that I became a registered lead teacher with the Dept. of Children and Families. I have since taught at two preschools in Los Angeles, taken several continuing education courses and certifications, and conducted private care sessions for individuals and groups. I am Wilderness CPR certified, and I also have a valid license and experience transporting children. Currently, I am looking for part time work while I focus more intensely on my graduate degree. I am eager to finish the program both because I am an enthusiastic learner and so that I can move on to my next goal of starting my own forest school program here in Nashville. I am open to single family care or care-shares with friends, and I can offer academic support as well as creative ideas for engaging and developmentally beneficial activities.
