Are you seeking a reliable caregiver who brings a wealth of experience and genuine passion to the table? Look no further! With over 7 years of dedicated babysitting experience, coupled with a nurturing demeanor, I offer a unique blend of care for your little ones, seniors, or beloved pets. As the eldest sibling in my family, caregiving comes naturally to me, and I’ve honed my skills through assisting parents and caring for family friends’ babies. I also have a recent background check and hold CPR and First Aid certifications, ensuring your loved ones are in safe hands. Additionally, my tutoring background ensures that not only will your loved ones be nurtured, but they’ll also receive valuable educational support. Let’s create a warm and welcoming environment together, where your family members are cherished and supported every step of the way.
I’m an experienced and dependable caregiver with a strong background in working with children of all ages. I’m a parent of three and an active uncle to my nephew, all of whom attend school in the Mansfield ISD. I’m deeply involved in their daily routines, academics, and extracurricular activities. I handle school drop-offs and pick-ups, help with homework, and participate in field trips and classroom events throughout the year. In addition to caring for my own children, I volunteer regularly across all grade levels in the MISD district, which has given me hands-on experience supporting students and teachers in different age groups and learning environments. I also serve on various committees within the district as both a parent and community leader. I’m known for being patient, responsible, and organized, with a calm and positive personality that helps children feel safe, supported, and valued. Whether helping with schoolwork, coordinating after-school activities, or simply creating a fun and caring environment, I take pride in providing consistent and trustworthy care that parents can rely on.
At 18 years old, I bring a genuine passion for helping others that truly drives me every day. Seeing people happy makes me happy, and I take great pride in creating a positive and supportive environment for those I care for. I am skilled at cooking nutritious, delicious meals, ensuring their well-being is always a priority. My experience is extensive—I have been working with children since I was very young, having raised four kids and babysat overnight and for extended periods. I treat every child with the same compassion, trust, and respect I would give my own family. My outgoing personality allows me to connect easily, while my patience and gentleness create a safe, nurturing space. At the same time, I am firm and confident enough to maintain boundaries and ensure everyone’s best interests are protected. This balance makes me a reliable and caring caregiver.
Lead with love , Serving with purpose. I am grateful to walk in a calling, not just a job. I believe the world becomes better; one tender moment at a time when we lead with compassion, empathy, and love. That is my north star. I’m a technology delivery leader by day and a lifelong servant at heart, I bring the same precision and warmth to a boardroom as I do to a bedtime story. I have cared for little ones who test every boundary (and every snack supply) and for seniors who deserve dignity, laughter, and patient companionship. My service looks like showing up fully, that is, homework help, diaper diplomacy, medication reminders, and the art of making grilled cheese exactly right. I do not just mind your family, I steward them. 😊
Hello nice to meet You & Your Little Ones..or Big Ones (older children/special needs/adults)! I am a WEEKEND, DATE-NIGHT, OVERNIGHT, and HOTEL-CARE for Out-of-Towners SITTER!! I've been blessed to have had 36 repeat families since I started with Urbansitter, in September of 2017, and MORE THAN 90 BOOKINGS than what is stated here! I say that because I have had 10 LONG TERM BOOKINGS. I believe: Caring for children is the most fulfilling job next to caring for the elderly! Of which, I also have experience caring for the elderly, as a Certified Nurse Assistant for rehabilitation/psych facilities, Caregiver and Activity Director in Assisted Living. I apply the professional skills gained while having the privilege of working for the Early Childhood Program, at the Fontana Unified School District, in California. For 15 years, I was guided and trained by Behavior Specialist, School Psychologist, Counselors, and phenomenal experienced educators in the field of education and child development. For 10 years, I continued to develop my education in child development by continuing to be a student at Chaffey College. I'm providing this information to you, the loving parents, that when I am caring and working with your children I am using the knowledge I have been taught and trained while being an Assistant Teacher and continuing college student of such an awesome early childhood education program, as I was fortunate to be a part of, and in the study of Child Development. If there's certain practices as a teacher that we use that do not coincide or match your parenting skills please let me know so I may try to mirror your rearing preferences. But it is skills learned that are very effective in keeping children safe while in care in a school setting, that also transcends into home care while children are away from their parents. For example, if walking to the park the child stays walking side by side, or holding hands, not running far ahead in front of adult looking after the child as trying to arrive to the park, and rules are explained ahead of time. In our classroom we also had siblings to work with, which could be challenging, but at home it is different. I have had the privilege of caring for many siblings through Urbansitter! WORK EXPERIENCE: I have 25 years of working with children age 3 to Jr. High School, as a Bilingual Teacher Aide, and as a Special Ed. Early Childhood Teacher Aide- Preschool ages 3-5 years old. I also worked as a Respite Care Provider, for families with children who have special needs, caring for them in their homes. I worked in these two professions until February 2021. FYI - Long hours (8+ hours) are not a problem, as I am accustomed to working 12-hour days, as I was once a Certified Nurse Assistant(CNA). I do overnight care if needed, or 12+ hours, during the week as well. EDUCATION: In doing the LVN ladder program at my college, I earned a Medical-Surgical Nurse Assistant Vocational Certificate, from Chaffey College, in California, of which I am most proud of! Before earning that I became a Certified as a Nurse Assistant (CNA), allowing me to work in hospitals, psych facilities, and nursing registries. I am fully vaccinated, CPR & First Aid trained. As well as "LiveScanned"/fingerprinted, with the Dept. of Justice and the FBI, when I became a Respite Care Provider for Inland Respite Inc, in Riverside, CA. Also, I have earned an Associates of Arts degree, in Liberal Arts & Sciences, that allowed me to be employed for the school districts I had the pleasure of working with, for 25 years. I was working on finishing an Associates of Science Degree in Child Development, being just shy a few classes. COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERING: I have volunteered in a Cub Scout program in Fontana, CA. and in Ontario, California, as a Den Leader (even though my sons had moved onto Boy Scouts). I volunteer as a religious education Teacher for Elementary & High School age students. Currently I teach third grade students. I have volunteered for the Boy Scouts of America, as well as the Girls Scouts. I also served on the PTA board for several years. Currently, I am a Faith formation volunteer teacher at St Jude Catholic Church, in Mansfield, TX. NUTSHELL: As you can see, I do enjoy working with ALL children..at the end of the day it is a VERY REWARDING EXPERIENCE! Even though it could be a bit challenging for example: when caring for siblings who may not be accustomed to listening / following the direction of another adult, I am still up for the challenge:) But I would hope parents do speak to their children about respect for another adult coming into their home. PATIENCE, SAFETY & LOVE...my motto. PETS - I don't mind caring for your pets. I love them too. DRIVING - I don't mind providing transportation for your children, but please do consider compensating the service. INTERVIEWS - I will accept FaceTime interviews, only if necessary, but I am not tech savvy. Therefore, you're welcome to FaceTime me once we exchange numbers. Your patience is much appreciated with this task! FOR IN-PERSON interviews- I rarely experience requests for face to face interviews, but if one is needed - Compensation for time/gas/mileage may be required depending on your location. CANCELLATIONS- IF I AM IN ROUTE & YOU MUST CANCEL: PLEASE COMPENSATE MY TIME/GASOLINE, ONLY FAIR TO DO SO.
