I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. I’ve worked with all ages from infants and up. I was a preschool teacher for awhile and I also have experience working with special education. Ive nannied for a 4 year old boy, a family with 4 kids (ages 10, 8, 5, 6 months) and occasionally for a family with 11, 9 and 3 year olds. I have my own car so I don’t mind transporting or running errands as needed. I’m CPR/BLS certified, almost medical assistant certified, a non smoker, I like to cook, and don’t mind light janitorial and household duties. I Can speak intermediate Spanish. I know enough to be able to teach someone else how to speak it and I would love to learn more together as well. I am based in Texas but I travel to California every so often to visit family.
My name is Leila! I am a Master's student at UNT pursuing my MBA in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. I graduated from UT Arlington with a BA in Communication Studies, specializing in the organizational communication track. I currently work in Human Resources, but I am open to occasional babysitting roles and tutoring opportunities. In college, I was an avid volunteer across DFW with experience volunteering internationally and I love working with children. I was a nanny throughout college and loved my nanny families so so much. I've been a camp counselor, a band coach, and a committed volunteer through the service cohort of my leadership society at school. I have created long lasting bonds with my employers and have consistently created environments in my workplace that are inclusive, loving, and positive. Among my various volunteer experiences, a highlight I've had is working as a supplemental English teacher in the beautiful community of Jiquilillo, in Chinandega, Nicaragua, with GIVE Volunteers. In my work with children, I teach critical values to encourage positive mindset, creative thinking, and the exploration of new ideas. Those values are imperative for the youth of today and the global citizens of tomorrow. I have a very holistic approach to parenting! Reach out to me via private message for interview scheduling. I don't accept bookings without initial contact from the guardians. Open to occasional roles at this time. ***Please let me know if you have sick children prior to booking!*** Updated: 03/2026
“She was absolutely wonderful with my cats! We hired her during our wedding weekend to bring our cats to the venue for some quick photos, and it was such a relief knowing they were being cared for by someone so kind and dependable. She kept us updated, took great care of the girls, and was incredibly patient (even when my oldest cat decided she wanted absolutely nothing to do with the plan 😅😂) She genuinely went above and beyond, and it was obvious how much she cared about making sure everything went smoothly and treating the cats with patience and gentleness. I’m so grateful for all of her help during such a busy and special time in our lives. I would absolutely trust her with my cats again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”
Hello families! My name is Ciarra, and I bring over 10 years of childcare experience, starting with helping care for children in my own family from a young age. Now as a proud mom to my 17-month-old son, I understand even more deeply how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your little one. I love engaging children through arts and crafts, creative play, and fun activities that encourage learning and exploration. My approach is gentle, patient, and nurturing, always focused on making kids feel safe and cared for. Along with childcare, I’m happy to assist with light household tasks such as tidying up, grocery shopping, or meal prep to help make your family’s day run a little smoother. You can count on me to be reliable, understanding, and flexible. Whether you need occasional help, consistent care, or last-minute support, I’ll provide the same level of love and attentiveness that I give my own child. As a mom myself, I know what it feels like to leave your child in someone else’s care — it can be exciting but also nerve-wracking. That’s why I take my role so seriously. I want every parent I work with to feel peace of mind knowing their child is not only safe, but happy, loved, and engaged while they’re with me. I also know how busy family life can get! Sometimes having an extra set of hands makes all the difference, so I’m more than happy to help with day-to-day things like light chores, errands, or grocery shopping. My goal is to support your household in a way that makes life easier, while giving your child a positive and caring environment. At the end of the day, I truly see this as more than just babysitting — it’s about building trust and being someone you can count on. I’d love the opportunity to meet your family and be a dependable part of your support system. I look forward to meeting you all ❤️ FYI I offer pet feeding or sitting/drop in's and dog walking. anything extra I can do to help I am willing
“We had a wonderful experience with Ciarra. She was great with our kids. She was very attentive and caring with them. Having her son join us was a great plate date for our little one as well. We will definitely work with Ciarra again if we need help watching our kids! ”
Hello! My name is Ava Marie. I’ll be attending UTA in the fall. I have worked in the service industry, and I’m transitioning into childcare because I love teaching kids to be creative and free in spirit! When it comes to my experience, I have helped raise my younger twin sisters my entire life. I love being playful, spending time outdoors, and being active! I am naturally a silly person that loves being around children because they are youthful and easy to inspire! I am a phenomenal role model for kids to look up to! I would love to work as a teacher in Spain or in Costa Rica! I admire the gentle parenting approach, and would love to gain some insightful parenting skills from working in different family dynamics. I am currently looking for part time work, and have flexible availability. Please let me know if you have any questions!

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
