Hello UrbanSitter Families! I'm not the greatest at introductions but I promise I'm far better in-person with families and kids. Combined, I have now over 15 years of experience working with families. In fact, there has not really been a time where I have ever stopped working with families! I have professionally managed events, conferences, and weddings for a good chunk of my career before transitioning to academic research and law. Outside of this platform, I work privately in law, with content management, and coach public speaking. I took a break from UrbanSitter for several years for grad schools. Now, I mostly use UrbanSitter to help with occasional date night, wedding, and events request. Would love to work with you and your family!

My name is Banessa, I’m a current Premedical student and also the oldest sibling out of four, I’d say being the oldest has made me the experienced and responsible caregiver I am today. I have worked with families in dental care for over six years and enjoy being around kids. On my free time, I enjoy gardening, oil-painting, volunteering, and spending time with family.

Hi there my name is Kim and I live in West Seattle area. I am currently a Kindergarten teacher in the Renton School District. I have BA of Interdisciplinary Studies, a MA in Education and teaching certificates for the states of TX, CA and Washington. I relocated to Seattle from Texas where I taught Pre Kindergarten in a public school as a certified teacher for 5 years. I also taught PreK in California and worked at various schools in Orange County, California as a substitute teacher. Other experience includes Kinder Care preschool teacher where I worked with 2 year olds and infants, and part time babysitting over the years for families with kiddos of all ages especially infants. As a certified teacher I have many hours of training and experience using positive discipline focused on redirection and respecting relationships. I have many fur babies myself so pets are a plus. Hi!, I’m Maryam, and I have over five years of hands-on experience working with children of all ages. My mother owns a daycare center, where I have spent years helping and building strong skills in childcare, from infants to school aged kids. These experiences have given me a deep passion for creating safe, loving, and engaging environments for children to learn and grow. I am a caring, energetic, and patient person who loves being active and creative with kids whether that means playing games, helping with schoolwork, or encouraging them through arts, crafts, and outdoor activities. I take pride in nurturing children while also supporting their development and independence. In addition to childcare, I am comfortable with light housework, organizing, and running errands. I am also trained in CPR and first aid, ensuring I can respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations. My love for children goes beyond caregiving I truly enjoy being part of their growth journey and forming positive, trusting relationships with families. I am excited about the opportunity to bring my skills, experience, and passion for childcare into a supportive and nurturing home environment.
