Hi! I’m Julisa, a senior at the University of Washington offering dependable child care, pet care, and light household support in the Seattle area. I’ve cared for children ages 6 months to early teens since I was 16, bringing a mix of energy, patience, and creativity to each job—whether it’s playtime, homework help, or school pickups. I have a safe, reliable car and am comfortable driving kids to activities, appointments, or wherever they need to go. I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve worked with reactive dogs and have hands-on experience with puppy training as well. I grew up with two cats and now have a dog named Orion, who’s back home in California with my family. Alongside child and pet care, I’m happy to help with light cooking, tidying up, errands, or anything else that keeps your home running smoothly.
Hello my name is Karla! I am 23 and I have a certificate in Early childhood education and about 5 years working with school age children and toddlers. I have one year of infant experience as well with my daughter who just turned one! I love to help others and and would love to help you out with whatever needs you have :)
Hi families! I am a middle school teacher (cooking-- yes, it exists!) with nearly twelve years in the classroom. Originally from the midwest, I spent many summers growing up working as a nanny, babysitting for neighbors, and eventually working in summer camps and a daycare for four years during college. I have always been in roles working with children of various ages, and my career in education has allowed me to continue fulfilling my passion. I teach my students how to cook, shop, and plan meals for themselves, in hopes of giving them confidence in the kitchen. I love what I do, even on the most chaotic days! You can expect me to drive myself to your home, arrive on time, interact and engage with your children, follow the directions you provide, and leave a clean house. My teacher "toolbox" allows me to adapt and create fun activities for us to do, related to the age and abilities of your child(ren). I love creating memories with your kids while you enjoy your time away, giving you peace of mind and the freedom to focus on yourself. I am happy to do what I can around the house to help support your family, as well as take care of any pets you may have. I have 3 dogs myself, and am comfortable with a variety of tasks necessary to keep your animals happy.
I have been a classroom teacher for eighteen years and I absolutely love my job. Recently, I have stepped away to find more flexibility and time to care for my 10 year old and work on art projects. Most of my experience has been working with communities and schools that serve a high proportion of students learning English as a second language and high rates of free or reduced lunch. Meeting the diverse needs of students has been a joy and a welcomed challenge. Their curiosity is inspiring and I feel incredibly fortunate to guide and teach these children. I believe strongly in integrating subject matter wherever possible and working closely with colleagues to provide the best possible education for each student. As my career has progressed, I have started exploring alternative ways of educating including Land Based Education, student led, subject integrated projects and social/emotional regulation skills based on art, music, and nature therapy. I am seeking a part time position to spend more time with my son and work on developing a science program centered on the Pacific Northwest. My education includes a Masters in Teaching from the University of Washington, a Master of Arts in Zoology from Miami University and a NBC for Middle Childhood Generalist (recently renewed until 2030). I love the outdoors and play based eduction. I have many pets including chickens, cats, a bearded dragon, a dog and two guinea pigs. I love working on projects with kids especially science and art. Thank you for taking the time to read this! I hope to meet you soon!
Hello, I’m Salina , and I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with families seeking a caring, dependable, and attentive caregiver. As a psychology graduate currently working as a Case Manager in Children’s Crisis Outreach, I support children and families through challenging moments with patience, empathy, and structure—skills that deeply inform how I show up in caregiving roles. My professional background has strengthened my understanding of child development, emotional regulation, and the importance of creating environments where children feel safe, supported, and understood. Alongside my formal training, I’ve built years of hands-on experience caring for children in various settings, allowing me to adapt to different ages, personalities, and family dynamics with ease. What continues to motivate me is the privilege of helping children feel secure while encouraging curiosity, growth, and confidence. I prioritize clear communication, consistency, and age-appropriate engagement, and I’m intentional about creating calm, enriching spaces—whether through creative activities, routine-building, or simply being a steady presence. I would love the opportunity to support your family and contribute positively to your child’s well-being. I’m happy to connect via FaceTime or meet for coffee to discuss your family’s needs and how my experience may be a good fit. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to learning more about your family and exploring how I can best support you. Warmly, Salina
