Hi families! I am a middle school teacher (cooking-- yes, it exists!) with nearly twelve years in the classroom. Originally from the midwest, I spent many summers growing up working as a nanny, babysitting for neighbors, and eventually working in summer camps and a daycare for four years during college. I have always been in roles working with children of various ages, and my career in education has allowed me to continue fulfilling my passion. I teach my students how to cook, shop, and plan meals for themselves, in hopes of giving them confidence in the kitchen. I love what I do, even on the most chaotic days! You can expect me to drive myself to your home, arrive on time, interact and engage with your children, follow the directions you provide, and leave a clean house. My teacher "toolbox" allows me to adapt and create fun activities for us to do, related to the age and abilities of your child(ren). My name is Lola and I am a senior at the University of Washington. I have worked at a daycare for almost a year as a floater assistant teacher and currently work as a daycare teacher for Child Care Careers. I have worked with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. I have specific experience caring for infants, and am certified in infant CPR. I also have experience with who are potty training. I absolutely love working with kids and am looking for local families to get to know and help out on a part time or as needed basis.

Growing up as the oldest of four children, I have had extensive experience with children. I am also an owner to both a cat and dog and am able to care for animals.
