I have Bachelor's degree in teaching English as a Second Language and I am currently studying to get my Montessori Teaching Certificate (AMS). I am a mommy of a 12-year-old Boy . I love working with children , I love to see them thrive for their learning. I would be honored to look after your child/children and keep them safe and grow their curiosity to learn everyday something about themselves and about life . I love doing music and movement for their ages, explore their senses , crafts , painting and cooking !

I have always babysat and loved it. I mostly did family friends and neighbors but had work with people that I just met, too. I am too soft for my own good. It is good for the kids though. I have done services ranging from babysitting to cleaning houses. I always do my best to ensure a good experience to the one I’m caring for. I do love babies specifically and hope to get more experience with newborns.

I enjoy interacting with children ranging from infants to teenagers. I enjoy dancing, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and encouraging activities children are interested in exploring.

Hi families! I am a middle school teacher (cooking-- yes, it exists!) with nearly twelve years in the classroom. Originally from the midwest, I spent many summers growing up working as a nanny, babysitting for neighbors, and eventually working in summer camps and a daycare for four years during college. I have always been in roles working with children of various ages, and my career in education has allowed me to continue fulfilling my passion. I teach my students how to cook, shop, and plan meals for themselves, in hopes of giving them confidence in the kitchen. I love what I do, even on the most chaotic days! You can expect me to drive myself to your home, arrive on time, interact and engage with your children, follow the directions you provide, and leave a clean house. My teacher "toolbox" allows me to adapt and create fun activities for us to do, related to the age and abilities of your child(ren). I have 3 dogs myself, and am comfortable with a variety of tasks necessary to keep your animals happy.

I would describe myself as having a calm and observant disposition. A clever sense of humor with a big imagination. Definitely a utilitarian thinker and likes to explore outside the box with art and play. I’ve always connected well with kids of all ages. It’s natural for me to communicate, play and be imaginative with them at their level while remaining in the present. Retired now but before I was a dedicated professional with over 15 years experience in providing comprehensive services to general/ special needs children of various ages mostly one to one. I also have a background in behavioral management and curriculum development. Eight years experience in pet/house sitting around the world. Six years of Camp Counselor and instructor in wilderness survival and camping with youth. In addition, I have 4 years of experience in Sailing Charters as a 1st Mate and 3 years experience in Landscaping/ general yard maintenance. Those are the large parts amongst many other hats I’ve worn throughout my years. I hold a MA in Special Needs Education specifically with the deaf and/or blind and a BA in Elementary Education K-6. The core of my person is organized/cleanliness, detailed oriented, mindful, loyal, honest, straight forward, and have integrity in anything I commit to, be it work or personal. I practice awareness in many areas and believe without this one cannot grow or learn how to improve themselves in communication and their person. Currently, I’m looking for part-time work for now that provides an environment that is stimulating to the mind and involves movement vs stationary. A multi tasking position with limited to no major self created chaos. Background information: I’ve been background checked and fingerprinted multiple times for educational purposes and licensing. I do not have any criminal background. I am NW born and grew up in Portland and Seattle area. At the moment I reside in Everett and have a vehicle.
